This honestly feels like an 8-8 team. Offense looks great, but SP still has not love for the running game. And our defense is just atrocious. I could never really see how people thought we really improved on it in the offseason. GW has to go.

And don't ever use the term "butt hurt" over here again. Got it?

No. Just that and the term "hater" are things I would like to see stricken from the English vernacular.

I only watched the 1st quarter or so of the Saints/Packers game. Didn't get to see what happened to Ingram. Just sounds like the Saints threw him into a bear trap. Tough Luck.

26 points from Rodgers though :D Meachem on the bench...

Anyone pick up Dead Island? Besides the horrible patching stuff, had a blast on the PC version last night, in 4 player co op.

Going to pick it up when I have some money. When I heard it was a mix of Fallout/Borderlands with zombies, I became intrigued.

And word. It's going to be a nice escape from all the FPS madness that's about to hit us.

need to pick up a wired 360 controller. K&M worked, but there was no analog fighting, and I couldn't use a mic.

But laughing at the stupid jokes each of us made about the situation we were in. That's GOLD, JERRY, GOLD!

Getting 2 trucks, and racing them back to the safehouse

I'm not going to say we are an 8-8 team after one game, especially in a game like that, where it's in Lambeau for the season opener and playing the SB champs. If this becomes a trend in the next few games I'll be worried.

We picked up two massive DT's and Malcolm Jenkins was gaining experience. We also drafted a DE in the first round. Why wouldn't you think we might improve? Obviously it didn't show last night, but if our DT's stop being lazy and we can get pressure, it very well might improve. GW had a pretty good defense last year. Obviously we were exploited in the Seattle game, but the defense was still top 5 in the regular season. I think we're getting quite a bit of knee jerk reactions from one game. I'll wait until about a quarter of the season is over to hold judgement.

That's fair enough. I've just seen enough of this type of performance from our defense over the years to get too hopeful.

That's just it, you seem to have tail spinned to a "abandon ship all hope is lost" mindset.. Don't do that, gotta think positive! LSU will win the NC and the Saints will win the Super Bowl this year, great year to be a Louisiana fan!

You "think positive" people are tough to stomach. It's called being realistic. I'm not abandoning ship, but we don't do much with this defense.

defense was horrible, but come on...we gave them one score with a colston fumble...gave them another on the KOR...and Sean Payton constantly outcoached himself all night.

This is much better than an 8-8 team, but I agree it was really hard to tell last night...GB moved the ball at will

Think about when the good defenses go up against the good offenses. Sure, they might surrender some points, but they don't get rocked liked that. We did nothing good on D last night. Non once. That breakup that Greer had on the 3rd down was so blind and lucky, I had to laugh.

Yeah I kinda had a question about that.. since when are NFL CB's told to not ever look back.. and instead to always blindly flail their arms when they might THINK the ball is in the air!?!

Are we seriously abandoning ship already with the Saints in here?
