i do have to say it is a pretty corrupt system. the way i see, it's the only industry doesn't doesn't directly pay it's employees a.k.a. the players. i guess you could say scholarships but not all players are on scholarships. some are walk-ons.

And the players are putting in just enough to get that big paycheck.

man, i wish i could get into it, but i just don't know how. the nfl gets all these exhibition games at the beginning of the season to work out kinks, they have playoffs, the works. but with college football, they hit the ground running and there's no stopping. you either got to be ready, or you're gonna fall flat on your face. as funny as it sounds, i get more of a "high" off of college football cause it's more exciting. the "every week counts" aspect is what puts me on the edge. nfl just seems likes it's too slow pace week by week.

So I need to focus on a game. I got sucked back in to Half Life 2, and I'm 75% through it, I borrowed Oblivion from alien and installed it last night and played that for an hour. But playing that only made me want to get back into Fallout 3 or finally play New Vegas. AND, alien got me Deus Ex for my birthday, which I've only played the day it released.

I'm all over the place.
