Reason they are $99 is that HP has officially discontinued production of the tablet. So every store with stock is trying to get rid of them ASAP.

Yeah. I've been kind of absent from xbox and when I'm at work lately I actually have a good bit of...work.

It's the suck.
I have a training class that I have to remote in to. Yesterday they had me on video conf. All I could see was a guy talking and a big blur of a presentation in the background.
Went with Live Meeting today. Could see the presentation but they gave him a headset instead of a pod phone. Did almost nothing on the presentation today, but answered individual questions that I couldn't even hear.

Yeah. Thing is the tablet runs WebOs, and not Android. But for $99, I'd totally get one for my parents. Plus it shows how much of a markup these things are getting from retailers.

I knew that, it's why I never even contemplated it even at $99.. There is a reason HP had to buy WebOS.. it's not even as good as the 3rd best, BlackberryOS..

More like.. who "made" webOS.. Palm. The originator of the touch screen multifunctional portable devices.. they went bankrupt and HP bought them out.
