And Finch, trust me, I've been following Nolan for quite some time, and he's going to keep doing better and better movies in the years to come. He definitely won't be known as the "Batman guy".

that's because you're 50 years old. . i did watch the Prestige after batman begins and it was awesome. then inception after the dark knight. i was a still in high school when those came out. so, my generation will remember him as the batman guy.

As long as Joel Schumacher isn't remembered as Batman guy.

Bat-nipple guy, maybe.

Most movie snobs are going to reject his Batman films when looking at his resume. And when it's all said and done, after he's done another 10 films and people STILL consider him the "Batman guy", they need to turn in their TV and go try out for American Idol.

Oh I think they are good movies. Just not Nolan's best.

i have to admit, inception was one of his better movies. i was skeptical about seeing it at first just because it wasn't batman, but once i got into it cause it actually forced me to think, i was blown away.

Memento is the best of what I've seen of his. I've yet to see a bad film with his name on it.

Momento was incredible.. My first film I ever saw with his name on it, and it blew me away, wish there was stock for movie directors, I would have taken some stock out on him back then.

Some people don't like Insomnia, but I still found it a great film. Robin Williams actually pulls off the bad guy role. And I'm a huge Pacino fan, and this is was a great part that allowed him to play an EXTREMELY flawed character. Pacino not having it together is interesting.

Was Insomnia the movie where it's a detective story in Alaska where the sun never sets, so he can't ever get to sleep and it ends up making the whole thing a lot more crazy?

Yep. Completely felt his pain as someone who is depraved from sleep deprivation. Nolan excels at this.

I would still say it wasn't his best work.. it was good, and even Nolan's best work is better than almost all movies ever, but I just like most of his other stuff better to be honest.

Insomnia isn't my favorite either, but still a great flick.
