My roommate is getting Skyrim. I'll either get it, or wait till he is done.

I'm leaning towards BF3, but more than likely, I'll get both eventually.

Hey sic, what is the code or website for the "disappointed" emoticon? the one where the guy shakes his head.

Also, I'm going to try one or the other.. I'm basically going to just go with the one I can play with friends the most, so yeah. I know my Halo friends hate CoD, but if other people I know get it.. yeah I just can't figure out what I'm going to do.

The biggest problem I have with CoD, is the same problem I have with the NCAA Football francise. Every single time a new CoD comes out, it's basically the last CoD with a small facelift, and each new iteration sells more copies than any other game in the history of video gaming, just like clockwork. (NCAA not as much, but people still buy it year after year after year)

THEN all the people that buy it do, is COMPLAIN about the game they just spent $60 on, as they get on the game every single night for 6+ hours a night. What will they do the next time a new CoD comes out? They will buy the game, just like they did the last time, and complain again.. it's a disgusting cycle, that will never end.

Couldn't agree more. I just got sick of it. I liked FPS's for a while, but now I'm just burnt out on them. Then you have to deal with cheaters and all of that crap. I rather just play something else.

Yeah. I'm gonna be taking some time off in October to go see my cousin in Texas. He'll be on leave from Afghanistan.

I'm thinking about filling up my day by installing a new gingerbread rom on my phone.. been holding off on a gingerbread rom for awhile, but this one looks like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Ok.. basically this is how it is. I own an HTC Thunderbolt, it's an Android phone that runs a GUI called "Sense" and runs on the Android operating system 2.2 - "Froyo". I have a rooted phone, so I have full access to the phone, I can change the GUI - Sense to whatever I want, and the Operating system - Froyo to any other Android OS I want.

There is a whole community of people that create custom "ROMS" that run millions of different possibilities of the two above systems. Sense is on 3.0 and Android is on 3.0.

Android has 1.6 - 1.7 - 1.8 / 2.0 - 2.1 - 2.2 - 2.3 / 3.0 for "functional" operating systems.

Sense has 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 - 3.0 GUIs "functional"

Basically.. it makes for a lot of fun in the development department.

Being the geek I am, I like to "control" everything that goes in and out of my phone so I pick the "development" I want the best, and try it out, if it's good I keep it.

Another thing "ROMs" have built into them are custom "kernels" which allow you to manipulate the hardware of the phone. like right now I am running a custom kernel that allows me to "overclock" my processor in my phone from 1.0 ghz to 1.5 ghz.. talk about BLAZING fast.

Well ok. But this is the reason I am wary of Androids. I would have no idea how to do any of that
