i was told sometime ago that places like Applebees, Longhorn, etc. all the waitresses share tips from Debit/Credit cards. is that true?

actually 15% isn't bad, however I'm a server, and a little shocked finch tips like a canadien

All places are different, but I worked at Applebees, and we had to share our tips with the hostess and bartender, but not between each other.

If youre nice and keep my water/pint glass filled and don't linger or get to in my tables business, I usually reward the server handsomely. Especially if she's cute.

I always keep glasses filled...I don't even let them get 1/4th of the way down, but when you're in the weeds and it's hot like it has been in New Orleans (well not the last week) people slam down their drinks very quickly
