I literally just beat the Nintendo 64 one the other day using a ROM, had no idea it was coming out.

100%'d both games and got all create a skater challenges

dont think I'll go for the Platinum though. Requires you to get to Level 100, which is totally disrespectful of the player's time. absurd

I'm probably gonna end up buying it this week, been itching to play, but been too busy.

OT: I've got an exam with Fay Woo this week for Lasik. I remember you either making a thread or posting in one recommending her.

Well worth it. It’s a nearly perfectly executed remake

Awesome. How long did you have to wait to get in? I tried scheduling a regular checkup a few months ago and they told me Woo was on a 5 month waitlist She’s nationally renowned for a reason, you are in great hands. She’s super sweet, extremely proficient, and has awesome staff. Her 2 blonde assistants are great, one is Katie and the other’s name I can’t remember, unfortunately

Not sure which thread you saw or if you saw my little anecdote, but I got my surgery at 8am, went home and slept most of the day, went to a social function for work, then went to a baseball game. Our suite in Alex Box is straight across from the main scoreboard, and I always had to squint as hard as I could to read the lineups. My “holy frick” moment was when I walked into the suite that night and the names on the lineups popped off the screen at me like they were in 4K UHD.

Best $3300 I ever spent. Granted, my vision wasn’t bad prior (I didn’t wear glasses, just nearsightedness), but still life changing

Nice, can't wait to play it.

Not long, thankfully. When I called their office they scheduled me to go in the next week for the initial visit. My exam had to be 21 days after I stopped wearing contacts, so this week is when I meet the requirement. I've got the exam this week and then the procedure next week. I was worried at first I might have to wait a while. Glad I'm not going for a check-up, that's a ridiculous wait, haha.

That sounds awesome, hopefully it goes that smooth for me.
My vision is around -4 in both eyes. I'm tired of dealing with contacts so I figured I might as well do it.

Almost identical to how it went for me

Based on your timeline and what they told me when I last called, I'm thinking that they give lasik patients immediate priority and just throw a waitlist at standard patients

Can't blame them, it's a lot of money for a little 15 minute procedure.

LMK how it goes.

Is there a reason that most of the skaters' boards are so generic or copies of the same boards yet just different color schemes? Probably my biggest complaint with the game. For example, why would I want to complete all of Elissa Steamer's challenges when the only 9 of her 10 boards either just say "Steamer" or "Baker" in different colors?

they're all trivialized by handflips

hit a 900 and revert into a manual, add whatever grinds and shite you want to build a big base score, then go into a manual, double tap circle to do a handstand, then just start mashing square to do handflips.

ive gotten several 1,000,000+ combos this way
