Only thing I've heard about roster updates is that it will be either this Monday or next. The dev's tweeted that our earlier.
They also confirmed that users will get something due to server issues since launch.

The load times for this game, particularly anything to do with the marketplace, are atrocious.
ETA: I can't even get to the main menu because of the stupid fricking card a day thing from the marketplace has taken 10+ minutes to load.

Before I pull the trigger can someone tell me how the batting is? I used to be lazy with the 2K game and switch it from the analog to x or whatever the button was you used to press. Is that an option on this one?
If all you have played is another baseball game then you can expect a large learning curve as far as hitting. You can use analog, or button. I use button, but hitting can still be rather difficult. I hit-and-run, steal bases, sacrifice bunt a lot in order to manufacture runs. Maybe I'm just horrible at hitting, but I have always found hitting to be somewhat of a challenge in the game. I love it though, because it's very realistic.
Get the game...you won't regret it.

It's weird. I can have games where I'll hit four home runs and just shell the pitcher, then I'll be two-hit in a game and can't fricking touch whoever is on the mound.

I'm not really sure. I set it to experienced when it gives you the option right when you start, of if you are brand new to the game or have played often before. I went with the harder option there. I've mainly played conquest, which allows you to pick the level depending on the team you play. I play that on veteran most of the time, but my DD is pretty bad compared to MLB teams I'm playing against.
In RTTS I didn't touch anything. I am hitting over .400, but I'm in AA ball. Still pretty new to it.
I'm just passing time until rosters come out and I can start my franchise really.

The slow load screens have caused me to not even play DD. Click into something, loading...go back a screen, loading. And is there any way to sell your cards without having to search the players in the market?

I've never had a problem. Maybe it's just because I play conquest, and that's not really online.

They've already spoken about the evening being primetime for players being online which is what clogs the servers.
They're supposedly doing something with the servers as we speak so hopefully that fixes things.

They said they were just resetting them. Doesn't sound like a long term solution to me but who knows

The fact they can "restart" their servers tells me this is going to be a long term issue.

After they reset them they were solid last night. I don't think they'll ever be able to solve the challenge failed bullshite in this years game though. They would need to actuall invest in better servers
