What's up Scrowe? The raid was fun the other night. I'd be down to run it again this week, but I would like to start at 6-7 due to it taking so long. I think we could do it quicker this time, however I'm still confused on some of the parts of it. Somehow I didn't realize it the other night but I got the raid guantlet and chest armor on the first one, but I dip down to level 27 when I equip both of them bc I need to level them up. I did of course keep my old gear and can switch it out at any time. I should be on tonight. I've never done the night fall strikes.

Any idea on what the expansion packages are going to be or changes that may be made? I hate that I took all this time leveling up and everyone has moved on to something else. I do need some new levels though.

Yeah, you need to spend time to level it up because it gives more light fully leveled than your current gear. Although when raiding if it is not fully leveled you will benefit more having the gear that has you at the highest level because you won't take as much damage and you do more damage.
Use the bounties to power level the gear. It actually levels up rather quickly, the raid gear levels up faster than exotics so that's nice that you don't have to spend crap tons of time getting it up. The only thing is you will need 21 shards to upgrade each piece fully.
The raid will go a lot faster this time. Everyone knows what to expect now and where to be for all the bosses. I thought it went really well considering 5 of us had never been there and we only had one person with us who had. Especially considering we took about a 20 minute break before Atheon and then another 30 minutes trying to find a replacement when one person had to leave.
If I'm on, I'll hit you up for the nightfall, it shouldn't be too bad, especially if we have 3 of us, my buddy and have been running through them with just the 2 of us. The biggest thing about them is taking your time and not trying to Rambo it because being sent to orbit after wiping is a pain in the arse.

Cool, reptilian should be on tonight. We'll figure something out. I actually got lots of ascendants (energies and shards) during the raid, so its a good place to get them. That chick kinda saved our asses the other night at the end

I think it's going to be story missions mostly with a new strike and raid on the moon. The level cap will increase to level 32. PS4 gets another exclusive strike, which is why people flocked from the game bitching and moaning. It sucks that they get content first but it doesn't suck enough for me to go out and spend money on something else that I know I will just put down in a matter of a week or 2.

Well knowing the encounter was a huge help considering whomever he/she was wasn't communicating in party chat which leads me to believe it was a she since most are scared to talk because mouth breathers tend to not leave them alone once they find out there is a girl in the party.
I thought it was hilarious that since the person didn't talk we talked for them talking shite about ourselves being dipshits whenever we first started things back up on Atheon.
I think we would have downed Atheon sooner if we didn't get screwed on some of our better attempts with things like killing all the Oracles only to have it kill us claiming we didn't. I didn't understand how in the summary we would have the correct amount of Oracles killed yet it would wipe us.

I'm still confused on what to do once you get the crest or whatever it was. Maybe someone can explain it to me better again next run. I didn't want to bombard that dude with questions the whole night. I'll watch a few youtube videos as well. The new raid will be fun once it comes out.

They already have an extra strike on Mars, Sony and Bungie have an exclusive agreement on stuff. We (as in Xbox users) get those strikes eventually, but not until after a year of their release. It is complete bullshite I agree, so have many others who have Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 who are boycotting it by not playing the game anymore. I would like to know the actual number of people they lost due to this.

If we group up for nightfall I will give you a rundown , especially since most of the nightfall we will just run through on autopilot and can do it while bullshitting. I know Sofresh and I grabbed it most of the time which makes it tough for others to learn if they aren't actually getting a chance to pick it up.
The only part about the raid I didn't get to keep up with was going through the labyrinth with the Gorgons because I was just mindlessly following Sofresh and making sure I kept up with him.

No, I am busy trying to farm for spinmetal, iron relics, and shards to try and level up my raid gear. Iron relics are really tedious, and aggravating. Anyway I just did the daily story, and patrols for a few hours. Boring stuff. I did however do a strike at the end which gave me a hunter gauntlet which I gave up for 3 shards, so the night wasn't a complete waste. I should be able to play around 7 tonight if you're down. My plan is to buy exotic armour and an engram from xur Friday to dismantle and get shards. I think I have enough coins and motes already. but I'm down to do whatever.

My buddy is getting on about the same time, I should be on more towards 8. We can run the nightfall, you can get shards/energies for running it from time to time along with legendaries which can turn into shards/energies for you.

I don't know where you're farming, but I have a lot of luck in the Barrens and the Scablands. I usually stick to the Barrens unless it's overrun with people. It's all about knowing where the chests can spawn, and it seems like every time I farm I find a new location on the route I run which just makes things go faster.

Sounds like a plan, shouldn't take long, I saw a guy solo it in 12 minutes in a video granted he was a level 30, but with 3 of us it should still be cake. Did reptilian get anything from the raid to help boost him to 28?

Yeah that won't be a problem, I can usually get around 15-20 in 10-15 minutes when the area isn't crowded. It's boring as hell though cause all I do is ride around on my sparrow.
