Hit 40 in one day, got a bunch of year 2 legendaries, and got my first year 2 exotic from zur.
235 light. I really want to start doing heroic strikes again. I'm antsy and I want to try the new raid, so I'm trying my hardest to get my light high enough for it.
I miss my helm of saint 14 though. My defender build was based around it.

I'll help you run through some stuff just gimme an invite if you ever see me on
ETA: finally finished the hard mode Oryx challenge last night. Our group was full of people who "have been trying to do it since reset and can't finish it". We were like "no one is leaving until we do this".
2 hours later
turns out that two of us had never finished the hard mode before (including myself). The rest of the group was like "wait, really?"

If you need strange coins for xur stuff do SRL. I got 70 of them or so this week. I mostly buy 3 of coins from xur and then use them at the end of SRL races that I didn't get top 3 and I will normally get an exotic ever second or third race.

This week's nightfall isn't too bad if you have arc burn weapons and an arc sword for the end

If you are under 290LL vanguard strikes and Court are best. Over 290 then it is normal raid, trials bounties and heroic strikes, over 305 HM raid/challenges.

questions: What is court? And I'm already doing heroic strikes/nightfall strikes at 283.

The Court of Oryx is a "public" area in the middle of the Dreadnaught. There is a portal there that you enter when you begin the raid. There are six statues, but when you patrol you can only interact with 3. These three statues offer Tier events, which you gain access to with runes.
The higher the tier, the better the rewards. Tier 3 I believe gets you a 300 or 310 artifact.
Challenges are part of the raid, so I would stay away from that for now.

3oC is Three of Coins that Xur sell for 7 strange coins for a stack of 5 3oC. 3oC gives you a chance at finding Exotics in the loot table from killing an Ultra boss.
If you are comfortable doing Hero strikes under 290 that is fine.

So i just dinged 292.
Ran the raid up to the sisters. Got Elulim's Frenzy, War Numen's Fist, and i bought a 280 defense ghost.
Gonna finish up the raid now. Pretty pumped.
