The little Square towers on the start up screen of a PlayStation 2Represented how many games you had played on that console and the height of the towers was the time that you spent playing the game.

That's not what it is. It depends on the amount of saves on your memory card. The more diverse the games you had saved on the card, the more towers there were.

Had nothing to do with the console.

Same thing, but yeah, it's reading from the memory card.
