Thoughts on the many many leaks of a second Resident Evil 1 remake slated for 2026?

Many leaks, which should be consider skeptically obviously, is that Capcom has 5 RE games in various stages of production (this part isnt a leak we have known this for a while) but its almost without doubt only two of these are in active production with the other 3 likely being in concept phase/pre production with 1 possibly just beginning to enter real production depending on how far along RE9 is ( more on that game in a bit.)
Leakers some with a solid history others not so much have been outpouring nonstop that Capcoms new REX engine an upgrade to the RE engine theyve been using with first be used to debut a new Remake of RE1 slated for 2026 for the series 30th anniversary using the same 3rd person style all remakes have done. They continue that the game will be even much slower paced than 2 remake with not very many enemies to the point each zombie and enemy will all have unique models, will require more ammo than they did in 2 make, and will aim to expand even more on RE1 lore. The fanbase seems very split on this idea since the gamecube remake is already so good. My take is im fine with it and if executed well like 2make and 4make could be very cool and let them finally allow for an ending where all cannon alive characters escape and bring the lore in line with current remakes.
I know many fans want RE5 as the next remake, personally I wanted Code Veronica first, but if they aim to ensure any new fans have all proper context for remake of 5 it does make most sense to do 1 then Code Veronica then 5.
Quickly on RE9 is very likely we will be seeing the first look very soon given Capcoms track record of showing off new games at Sony events since RE7 its almost certain they will be there and likely show it at Sonys state of play coming in a few days.
So what is yalls opinion on Capcom doing RE1 second remake in line with their current works utilizing their new REX engine for the first time?

As long as these remakes continue to be of the quality of 2 and 4, Im down for whatever.

I dont doubt they are, Code Veronica 100% is, but like I said they certainly arent in full production. It seems incredibly likely the next two RE games will be RE9 and a remake of RE1

So as I said these ridiculous leaks outport almost every 12 hours new ones are out from someone with a very good and back track record. His claims are
-RE9 despite being known to have about 6 years of development being pushed to 2025 or 2026
-RE1 remake is bullshite
-RE5 remake isn’t anywhere past concept phase
And the only two other RE games other than 9 in active development are remakes of Resident evil 0 and Code Veronica
Personally I think this is all bullshite
Imo Capcom needs to listen to the fan surveys the send out often I myself have gotten a few always asking what other IPs player want modern remakes of and Dino Crisis is alway 1 or 2.
