Blood and Wine has 2 bandit camps that are a bitch to get through on death march. Puppet got nerfed last update so I can't stand back and watch them kill each other.

Dancing star bomb obliterates bandits.

Without that it would be really tough I agree. Assuming it's the usual crossbow axe shield blackjack bandit camp

No, it's a stronghold with a crapload of bandits. Depends on how you do, but they can call reinforcements with even more bandits. My first time, I'd say there were about 30 bandits and they sicced dogs on me, too.

Oh.. yikes

Sounds really challenging. Can't wait

If I'm out of Dancing star I'll switch to Devils puff ball (or dragon breathe..I forgot which) and hope for a burning runestones proc in the middle. Sets off a chain reaction inferno

They usually send reinforcements after the first wave of enemies you kill. I waited for them to show before moving on to the next wave of enemies ahead. They never showed so I went ahead to the next group of enemies and reinforcement shows up as soon as I engage the next wave. I had around 20 bandits chasing me around the castle.

My second bandit stronghold, I chased the fricker that lights the beacon for reinforcements and killed him before he could light it.

Made it easier, for sure, but still had to plow through 20 bandits and a handful of dogs. I kinda got them single-file on a small bridge and took them out that way with lots of Aard and Igni.

Are there any arachnas camps in BW?

Those camps gave me hell in HOS

I assume there are vampires. I don't have superior vampire oil. I imagine this was done on purpose

There are big spiders, different from the ones you've seen before but really no different to fight.

Yes.

Get some or prepare your anus. I'd make it a top priority.

Just ran by the "family jewels" quest last night

I wonder what happens if you choose to lend them to the old man or give them to him since they were basically viagra...

I chose to take them back.

Because of your game library?

Yea, I actually do have a 480 in my work laptop that I honestly don't need whatsoever that I put in there, I'm thinking about knocking that down to a 256 and putting the 480 in the ps4...how do you you do it and transfer all the games over though?

I lent them to him for another day. When you return, he has shacked up with another woman and tells you to be quiet so as to not wake her. He drops the "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is tired" line and begs you to take them.

That's the one I chose, too, so it worked out well.

SPOILERS FOR THE THIRD POSSIBLE OUTCOME

If you choose to let him keep them forever, he ends up dying from a heart attack plowing all those women so much.

I'm about 25hrs into B&W and just really getting into the main quest. This $20 DLC is better than most full games.

Spoilers

***********************************************

At the mission where Regis walks in with Detlaff while you are talking to the Duchess.

Regis is a great character. Would be cool to play as him in a DLC or something.

I loved Regis in the books and he was amazing in blood and wine. Honestly I think he is the best friend Geralt has.

Dunno, after listening to the MC guy it was stuck in my head expecting everyone to speak that way.

I was too. Something about the slow manner in which Viv speaks, it seemed like it should have been like the MC guy.

So far I am loving this DLC. Only done a few quests though. Fully upgraded the digs, helped the stupid Guillame (he pretty much told me to frick off in the end ), and did the mutagens quest. Tomorrow I'll start the art curator quest.
