I'm hoping the playoffs just roll through and as you guys finish the next series opens up. The users that are left are pretty available so I am hoping we will get through the offseason fairly quick. Not in a big rush though bc I want hog to be back for the offseason with his Braves. Think he will be back at the very end of the month.

I'm very curious to see how free agency works. I was looking today and it seems like damn near everyone's bullpens will be FAs. I'm expecting a lot of players to shuffle around.

Well from other franchises I have done the first offseason is usually about resigning players. Usually the bulk of my budget is used on signing the guys on my roster to long term deals. That frees enough to sign just a few guys in FA season 2 is when some big moves can be made. Unless you don't sign a lot of your roster back bc most of them will be free agents.

I did some rough figures and it looked like i will have like 25-30 million open up after the season if i don't re-sign anyone, which i am contemplating since i hate 90% of my team

pretty positive I won't have the monetary capacity for a move like that. But I was savvy during the season and several of my key players are signed through at least next season

Did we have the capability to sign guys to extensions during the season? I don't remember seeing anywhere to do that.

ETA: Forgot to add that you can have the best record on Veteran all you want. Come talk to me when you can stomp it out on HoF or higher.

Ready when you are. Does anyone know why when I move my 5th starter to the bullpen, my closer isn't available? Are you allowed a certain number of people in the bullpen? I didn't think it mattered as long as you stay within the limits of active players on the roster.
