The Uggla bunt. Given the situation - You were up 3-1 in the top of the 4th with runners on 1st and 2nd and nobody out. You should have been swinging the entire time with him. Uggla has never been a bunt type of guy and for you to lay down a sacrifice bunt with a power hitter is just not something that should have been done.

The Astros made a living in the late innings of the 3 game set against the Braves and used those late inning heroics to sweep the Braves. Final score of game 3, Astros 6 Braves 3. Matt Dominguez was the hero of game 3 belting a go ahead 3 run blast in the bottom of the 8th. Good series Hog.

I wouldn't consider bunting anybody with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs bush league.
I have done it with my clean up before. I struggle to score runs at times, so you better believe 99.9999% of the time I am trying to bunt runners over when I get a chance to put runs on the board.

Lol. Yeah for real. If bunting is bush league what else is? Will people get mad if I intentionally walk someone without it setting up a force or if I suicide squeeze with my 3 hole hitter or steal with a multi run lead? I'm interested in winning not preserving baseball's unwritten rules of etiquette.

If you ever do this to me I will straight up quit the game and leave the league. There is no situation ever where a cleanup hitter or the best hitter on a team would ever lay down a bunt to move runners over. Are we not going for a realistic simulation of how the game is meant to be played? If not, then let me know so I can go ahead and leave now. I was under the assumption that we were supposed to be playing this in a simulation style.

It wouldn't be smart with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs, to bunt anybody? Instead I should take the chance of grounding into a double play, and ending the inning with a runner on third bc my next guy gets out?
Over bunting them to second and third with one out. Then just having to put the ball in play to score?
For me, who struggles to score runs sometimes, I have to bunt. I would be throwing games if I didn't.

No, by all means if you need to bunt go for it. However, if you have an Albert Pujols, or any other 3-4 hitter at the plate you should be swinging the bat because you will never see them laying down a bunt.

I see what Hart is saying. I struggle with runs as well, but I'm not bunting Harper or Goldy to move players over...they have probably never bunted with 2 men on base in their life. I understand the need to score runs, but there is a level of realism I thought we were trying to keep. Otherwise we might as well not even have a trade commish because we are doing that to keep things real

I had no involvement in this and I personally don't do it but I'll give my opinion anyway. I think it's dumb to even be upset about it. I would welcome anyone playing me to bunt with their 3 or 4 hole. It's a mistake to do it. I'll gladly take the free out and take the best hitter in the other teams's lineup out of the equation all together. 2nd and 3rd with one out is a more favorably position for me than 1st and 2nd with no outs and the best hitter at the plate.

Well since you are asking, spamming the bunt button acting as if you are going to lay down a bunt is in fact an exploit as it draws the infield in automatically. So while you only did it twice and they both came in the top of the 9th of game 2,you probably shouldn't do it against anyone else.

If you want a robot type league then just sim all the games and lets so who comes on top. Yay

The league isn't going anywhere man. We may drop down a few here and there but I never see us getting below 8. Then Christmas will roll around and people will get PS4's and the game and we will likely have plenty of new members.
