again, i'm not arguing any of what you're saying. i know that hype is hype... that's the way i had intended to say it. regardless, you can't tell me that as years progress, developers don't figure out how better to optimize the hardware's output. compare a launch title xbox 360 game with crysis 2, which comes out next month. yes, the 360 will always be limited, but as long as we're stuck with this gen of consoles for the next ~4 years, developers are going to figure out how to use the hardware as best they can. i have a 360, a PS3, and a PC rig--good gaming isn't limited to looks. battlefield 2 is one of maybe 3 games i'll play every 6 months, and it's from 2005.

you don't know anything about this game other than the fact that it a) looks damn good, and b) should be damn good, if it's a true sequel to BF2.

Optimization 6 years ago is quite a bit different than optimization today. And you even said it, the game is getting ported.

No one is hating. The FACT is that it won't look as good on consoles, and that's how I will play the game.
And dropping my GS and trophy level along with the fact that I haven't played a PC game in 4 years (which you didn't mention) is just to show that I am not a PC fanboy.

yeah, I just usually have to explain the two are different games. BC2 was far from shite. I enjoyed it for weeks, but then it got boring too quickly. there just weren't enough features to keep me hooked. also, the potential for everyone to do whatever the shite they wanted made it hard too.

No one is arguing how good it is...you completely turned this into something more than it was. This argument somehow turned into me hating the game because you have a hard on for the series, all because i said it won't look the same on consoles.
