The next halo game(after 6 when chief dies)

I'd bet money the game will be a first person open world(s) RPG.


TL;DR make halo like destiny/ division/ borderlands

They have all the lore to go along with it. Multiple planets, tech, races and weapons.

I feel like they are slowly getting ready for this with halo 5. They had missions where you would just walk around and couldn't use your guns( like safe zones in devision) and get Intel and info for next mission.

They introduced attachments for weapons that would be cool to apply to your character in an RPG. Customize your BR or DMR with multiple scopes, skins, stabilizers and silencers.

They can have it to where you can travel between a ton of planets, asteroid belts, space stations and so on. The covenant kind broke up but there are rogue factions everywhere that you can fight. They have set up the fact there are multiple Sparttans and once they kill chief the next game you become your own Spartan on your own journey across the galaxy trying to restore peace.

They can still keep the MP aspect because it's already a simulation so you can just go to any simulation station and compete in MP against other and team up with people in your squad.

Could even get your own pelican to travel between systems and even fight with it and customize it.

Have it to where you can join clans and do raids/ mission and compete against other clans in MP simulation to gain gear or credits to buy new stuff.

You can even set up a home base and build it up too

I'm probably doing a bad job of getting my idea across but basically it should be a borderlands/destiny/ division type game.

The halo universe is set up perfectly for this.


I would also like if they added theh could some how balance it to where you could pick races. Like shadow run where you could be a dwarf(grunt) or troll (hunter). Could be a really fun game but less likely to add but could be another stand alone.
