the only place i find it anticlimactic is in gerudo city, but at that point I had done so many shrines it's utilitarian...just give me the container
plus i hate fast travel and it would be a real pain to walk back to the great plateau, climb up the wall and then go to the temple of time.
i'm playing this one in a more linear fashion. i'm going to do all the early shite at kakariko and hateno village and then i'm going to head west for either rito village or gerudo valley with a lot of shrine hunting along the way.

Only used the Temple of Time once. Always go to one of the villages. Fast travel makes it easier. At one point before hitting a wall because of hidden shrines I would go to pray with 20 containers. They can really add up quick during the beginning.
I don't think so... But maybe, hard to judge yourself.

you can't let go of your original save, spirit orbs, weapons...come on, i'm on to something. i'm not saying you're a hoarder hoarder, but you're one of those guys
my wife can't let shite go either.
her: no i need that receipt!
me: it's for toothpaste at cvs.
her: ugh, just wait and i'll do it, you're stressing me.

I'm an in game hoarder no doubt. It's hard to salvage anything in Diablo and FO. So maybe so.
Edt: The save file just really bugs me. The Switch says I have 145hr+, that is a lot of time in 1 month. It's hard to let that go.

my ultimate point really is about the degredation system. i just think it's different strokes for different folks...so long as it's done the way it's done here. some people have said it's a tested/failed/outdated design choice.
it's not making me tediously collect things because there are so many and they're all around but it does force me into variety. if you give me the master sword and hylian shield, i'm not using anything else
so it takes something that would get old and makes it fresh for me throughout.
but i absolutely get why it frustrates others and there's a legitimate gripe about how it is increasingly less worthwhile to open treasure chests as the game progresses.

Probably just you . I go back to Zora's Domain to buy ice arrows and turn luminous stones into diamonds.

People like me trying to fill out the compendium love finding new shite.
I've barely used the master sword since I've gotten it. Weapons with elemental effects are just too powerful. You can keep strong foes chain stun locked with ice and electricity.

The comedy in this damn is so random. It is gold every time.
Great Fairies crack me up.

All I've done this week is upgrade my armor and try to find the last few shrines... Still haven't found 2 of them.

I;ve spent 10hrs on 1 shrine already. This wasn't even a hidden shrine. Just could not find how to get into a cave. I knew the shrine had to be "inside the mountain" but hard to see with all that damn snow.

Whoever mentioned in-game hoarding, that's fricking me. I've got 2 ancient bows, one ancient bladesaw, and an ancient shortsword that I won't use. I have another ancient bow that I started using only when I had the two others in reserve. Yes, I know it's ridiculous.

Kind of a pain in the arse solution but it works
It's surprisingly effortless actually; takes all of five seconds. My only issue is that there's no way to back up save data.

Well relatively speaking. Versus starting a new game from the menu
Posted on 3/23/17 at 8:25 pm to Yat27
I don't know if the ancient bow breaks, but if it does it's the most durable weapon in the game. I went on foot from the akkala lab to the castle using it exclusively and through the castle and it didn't break

I always use the master sword until it breaks to save my more unique weapons. Otherwise the master sword is an inventory space eater

Does the Master Sword recharge on it's own if you don't use it, or do you have to "break it" first before it recharges?

On its own.
It is a 10min recharge time.
