The .Hack GU games are terrible

Never played these until now. I would hesitate to call these games "RPGs." You can button mash through the entire game without utilizing any of the games' systems. The level design consists of the same 4 areas with randomized layouts over and over again for 40+ hours. The enemies just stand around in groups of three waiting for you to attack them.

All .hack games have been shite.
I mean come on all we want is a decent .hack game without storyline.
Just want to play in the World.
Not these shitty movie sequenced button mashing cookie cutter shite games.

i was obsessed with the original 4 games for PS2 back in the day. cant remember if they were good or bad

I never played the G.U. games, but I really enjoyed the original ones. As far as only playing the game using the simpliest mechanics, a lot of games like that. Just because you aren't required to play with the best strategy doesn't mean you shouldn't.

You could faceroll through the game and never use a single ability.
