For ps4 it's tap the left directional pad button, that will bring up the grenade and an area of effect circle to aim your grenage. U then press R2 to throw it. U have to tap the directional button because if you hold it , it will bring up the grenade select "wheel" to choose what kind of grenade u want to use.

This one seems a little more active than the xbox thread, so I'll ask in here. Do y'all find the game to be a bit difficult at times? I pretty much exclusively shoot from cover (either blind or i'll pop out for brief periods) maybe I'm not using my grenades enough (usually forget about them honestly) and/or not being very patient. Just seems like the few side missions I've done have been a little harder than they should've been. I'm usually a sports gamer, so that I'm struggling a little bit is not my concern. Just looking for the correct way to play the game.

You need to make sure that you are constantly upgrading your inventory. You can't run in to a Level 10 mission with level 3 gear, even if you are a level 12. It's just not going to work. Don't forget to use your perks and what not as well.

Yes, to access any online features for any game on Playstation Network, you would need a PS+ membership. Likewise, you would need an XBL membership for Xbox.

I have a few questions as I'm still debating whether to pick this up after playing the Beta.
I've watched several streams and I'm just not sold by watching the gameplay alone. However, I do like teaming up with friends and doing stuff in-game. However, like someone else said, the fact that it takes multiple rounds to kill a human enemy is a real turn-off or me. Is it really that bad in the game's final product?
I thought the Division was supposed to be based on realism? Even Destiny allows you to two-shot certain enemies. I'm not bashing the company, they can obviously do what they want, but if that's the case I'm not sure if I could get past that.
Regardless, if someone in here speaks highly enough of it, I certainly haven't crossed it off my list at all, I have it reserved at Gamestop. Just a matter of actually going and paying for it.

Everything factors into how many shots it is to kill someone. If you are a level 10 going up against a level 8 opponent with a level 3 gun, it's going to take a bit to kill him. Likewise, if you have a level 10 gun, your character is level 10, and your opponent is level 8, you should dispose of him rather easily. With there being so many AR's and SMG's in the game, it's really hard to tell just how many shots it takes to kill someone. However, I know that with my Marksman Rifle (Sniper), as a level 13, I can deal almost 4K damage (headshot) to my enemy (insta kill on level 9 and below).
The game is essentially a more realistic looking version of Destiny. The graphics aren't of alien-esque planets or anything like that. It takes place in New York City. The gameplay is roughly the same, and they will even start having raids and what not. If you liked either Destiny or Borderlands, I promise you that you will enjoy this game.

i want to play this game, but i am out of town for work for the foreseeable future and staying in an extended stay..it has a decent connection but it is NAT 3 and it wont let me connect to this game...i tried for the beta and just kept getting an error. Is there any fairly simple way to switch to NAT 2 when staying in a hotel and i dont have access to the router?

Nobody.
The only time realism was ever mentioned it was with the art style and city.
People just continue to see what they want.

I mean the fact that it's a Tom Clancy, takes place in NYC, involves actual human players fighting against actual other humans screams that it's supposed to be somewhat realistic.
However, what was said about the damage makes more sense. I thought all enemies would tank rounds, but I totally understand what you mean by the weapon lvl, enemy lvl and your lvl and so forth. Pretty much exactly like Destiny.
Thanks!

I just picked it up looking forward to playing tonight.
How big is the map though? I hadn't seen it talked about really. Is it all of Manhattan? Parts of Manhattan and some of the boroughs?

Just the area north of Washington Square Park to south of Central Park.
I was hoping Central Park was in it so that we could get some outdoors but that would kind of bust their cover system up.
