No one is happy with destiny. Nor should they be. Each update fixes one thing and just adds additional exposure to something that was broken.
Auto rifles sucked. Now they're insane. Hand cannons dominated. Now they're trash and register inconsistently. Hunters were arguably the best class, now they're absolutely the worst.
Every update slows the game down significantly and rewards poor players. The people who have stuck with Destiny this long are playing a much different game than they were this time last year.

I stopped playing destiny because I didn't feel like spending 40 extra dollars to fix the game.

What is better about Destiny than it was, and what are you referencing it being better than? Saying it's better than two months ago is different than saying it's better than a year ago.

I thought that was a nice touch honestly. It does a few things all in 5 words:
1)They know how it looks
2)They know that they have done a poor job so far
3)They know the next fix has to actually work
4)They have at least some sense of humor and some self deprecating attitude that goes a long way to fixing mistakes from an objective point of view.

I actually got a drop from the dz I needed. 191 Sentry gloves. Gives me the 4 PC bonus.

Almost 16. I got smart (credit to advice from Gardoki) and started focusing on side missions and encounters in the higher end areas only and things started moving along a lot quicker. Looking forward to the DZ but want to wait until I'm at least close to 30.
Mainly need to get to 24 so dok and I can actually play together. The way they did the scaling in this game (or lack thereof) is so dumb. Hate it.

I am still sitting at DZ 46 ( I think ) and haven't logged in since Monday. GS 198. Can't bring myself to throw the hours into the DZ for DZ rank 75 stuff.
I'll play tonight especially if there is a half decent 204 AR or LMG (I like LMGs for my build) for sale at the BoO vendor (when they reset at 7pm) like the AUG they just sold. I have like 500 bird bucks and I'll go grind the other 300-400 for a weapon upgrade.

Yeah, sniping is fun. The game engine is really smooth. Get to cover, shoulder the weapon, don't move, go to work.
