You have to be online to play but you can have plenty of fun playing by yourself without a group. The group aspect does make it funner though.
It's already proved to be worth the $60 I paid for it imo. Love how I can turn my console off for the night without quitting where I'm at in the game. Turn it back on the next morning and my character is still standing where I left him. It's like destiny with a pause button.

Feels plenty big to walk around in. No vehicles. Big enough that the fast travel feature sometimes feels necessary.

Yeah we've had some randoms run with us sometimes and we'll accidentally get in front of them and they'll go rouge, but usually they'll scream out in chat, McCaig! I didn't mean to shoot you! Sorry! And we'll just keep shooting the NPC's.
Trolling other people is fun, but not that I know the penalty I won't be doing it again until I'm at endgame.

thanks for the insight. what's the season pass I keep seeing for 60 dollars? what does that give you? do you have to buy that to play this game online?

I've determined..as long as you can get headshots and keep your gun up to level, electronics is the way to gear early.
These healing auras and enhanced cover systems are great.

Hey dourden I'm thinking about getting this on pc, but still on the fence. I really didn't like destiny, and I hear there's hardly anyone pvping in the dark zone.

I am not big on playing with others so I don't group up much in games. Running solo the game is a blast but I haven't tried the dark zone yet. It's kind of surprising that I am almost the only PC player on here, or others are not talking about it under the circumstances.
With Destiny being console I don't know anything about it, but for a RPG shooter the game is a lot of fun, and if you can't find a group of like minded people you can force the PVP in the DZ.
