Another (small) problem with conference realignment is that I'm sure a lot of us have promised games in recruits home states for those that are from a state in our conference. Though I don't think this is enough to keep us from realigning. Maybe just some assistance from you for our OOC scheduling can solve that.
Currently we have 3 SEC teams and no other conference with more than 1. I say move Bama to the SEC east, and add FSU to the SEC east in place of UK or someone like that. Then put Wisc, ND, OU, and Wash in a conference (pick any conference) with 2 in each division. And make sure that conference has a conference title game. You'd always play the 1 user in your division, rotate with 1 user from the other division in your conference each year, and 1 or 2 games vs a user in the other conference for 3 or 4 user games each year. And obviously the conference championship game will likely be user vs user.
Just a thought.

Thats not a bad idea at all. What does everyone think that?

I just think it will mess up recruiting. I already only play 2 of my rivals and Texas is where most of my recruits are at. If I leave Big12 then I will not even play in my main pipeline state and will have no rivals. That means that I cant promise recruits 1-play in home state and 2-beat rivals 1st yr. Which is a promise I give to every recruit.

also, when is the next advance? how many people left to play?
Posted on 11/1/12 at 7:14 pm to crm3009
I like the idea...just to shift things up at least and play different users.

Really screws up recruiting. I would rather just switch to a team in another conference

I was the only one with a game this week. Everyone else has a bye. I just finished so we should be able to advance before Sunday if everyone just does their recruiting

Had anyone switched teams? I was thinking about but I haven't picked a new one or anything. What's y'all's thoughts on it? I'm fine either way but I wouldn't mind switching it up.

crm offered me a new team, but I'm sticking with my guys.
and I'm ready to advance.

I like my class coming in. I am sticking with OU

I like my class to. I just offered to switch teams into a conference with other players. Don't really want to move Fla St as I would lose my rival games for receuiting
Posted on 11/3/12 at 12:46 am to CPT Tiger
I'm not sure how much I like mine, but it's certainly better than my first recruiting class.
