damn 14 pts off turnovers was too much for me to overcome, good game relentless. That one returned was a backbreaker.

I thought the pass interference call was complete bullshite. My guy was 5 yards behind and you overthrew the receiver.

I don't like not having a good D. My line was exposed in my last few games. They are OK but are young. I miss having 99 at DT. One less thing to worry about.

Yeah the 2 fumbles were key for me. Esp the return for the TD. I felt kinda bad accepting the pass interference because it was not even close to being so.

I remembered last time we played and the 4 pix 6's and I was bound and determined to lot have that happen again. Plus, my running game is pretty tough to stop anyway.

It was a good game. Hopefully PSU gets some love in the polls b/c somehow we have been moving backwards despite winning. 1 more user game and I may find myself in the NC game if the cards fall right. Of course, I leave for Africa next Tuesday so even if I make the NC game, I may not be here to play it!

okay i'm not pissed that i lost, i'm pissed about shite done in the second quarter.

i'm pissed that we set up rules and not even the commish follows them. The second quarter he ran in circles with his QB until a receiver got open. Is that not cheesing? Then the 2 pt conversion which even in my opinion wasn't as bad but still he tossed right then when nothing happened right he ran left. This happens in football so i'm not as upset by this as i am the qb running in circles and backwards until a receiver comes back to the ball.

During the game i was so pissed i wanted to quit. His offense was being shut down until he did that shite. Just like the 2pt conversion would have been stopped had he not gone the other way. We really need to clarify whats okay and whats not.

I can handle the running back thing, although to me its cheesing as well because its not just taking a pitch then going straight in the opposite direction its running to one side then turning around and running to the other because your rb is fast. I know this happens in real life but are we considering it fair here as well?

Eh, personally I don't see a problem with his Qb running around. I mean, we have all seen Marcus Vick do that type of thing, or even Jamarcus Russell, etc.

When I play someone who does it though I start bringing the heat from the CB's.

Maybe it's slightly cheesy but I don't see how it's any different than when people drop back 15-20 yards on all their passes.

edit: I guess it also depends to what degree he was doing this. Rolling to one side then running the to the other once isn't odd to me, but if he was running in huge 50 yard circles for 20 seconds, that's a bit much.

I really don't see the problem. Sounds like the defense was a little suspect. I mean if you play to contain then there shouldn't be a problem. Get some speed on your D. I have played 2 or 3 user games that have either qb's or rb's that are super fast. I have had no issues containing any of them for the most part. I lost all of em, but there wansn't any of what you described going on. And I am a sore loser as evident as my temper tantrum against Art.

BTW ART no hard feelings, i just hate losing.

Isn't this the definition of cheesing? It avoids the sack and allows players to come back to the ball when they are not open. The only play i ever drop back that far is for a screen pass because you literally have to run for your life to wait for the rb to come out of his stance.

i guess i just don't understand what is considered cheesing and what isn't. Its not like i'm bitching about the end results, the first quarter, third and fourth quarter were played fine, the second quarter not so much.

I don't understand what we constitute as cheesing on offense then. If to y'all thats not cheesing then shite putting a fast Wr at QB shouldn't be cheesing either since its just a wildcat formation.

I mean we laid ground rules for a reason, but we can't determine what falls under them whats the point in having them? If Ez can't put a rb at DE to sure up speed on the defensive side, why should we allow a qb to run in circles because he's faster then all the down linemen until someone is able to get open? Its just not how i play and not how i want to play. Its like playing with people online who can't actually play the game.

This isn't at all a complaint that i want the game to be thrown out or anything, i'm fine with the final results. I just want to know what we're calling cheesing and not. In my personal opinion the second quarter was exactly how we agreed not to play. It was mainly one drive and then a two pt conversion later. The two point conversion i can deal with i had opportunities to tackle but didnt' make it, but at the same time it also felt like it was against what we decided on.

You can put a WR at QB if you change him to a QB during position changes. He won't be able to throw for shite, but if you want to run the Ga Tech offense, then more power to you, I say.

As far as the running around and backwards with the QB, that will be solved with the '10 release. Once he gets 10 or 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage, the passing icons will disappear.

I am OK with playing with any formation sub that the game has by default. PSU has a 5 WR set where I can put my RB in at QB in the formation sub. I don't think that's cheesing.

IMHO if your QB just so happens to be fast, he should be able to run around how ever he wants. No one complained Reggie Bush was cheesing when he would reverse fields in his days at USC. It's not his fault they couldn't tackle him.

So I beat the #1 by 24 on their home fieldand only move up 2 spots, not jumping any of the 1 loss teams that jumped ME when they beat #2 or #3 ranked team.

EA hates PSU
