I never understood the comparison of the two games, because other than the fact that they are both FPS's they literally have nothing in common.
BF goes for a true sim feeling and tries to get a true full experience of what a real battle would feel like (planes, tanks, shite blowing up in your face).
CoD goes for the all-infantry approach and has more of an arcade-style fighting system.
There is nothing wrong with either approach, just two very different games.
