Also, thanks to JLock for leaving USF in decent shape

They were in pretty good shape, minus the last recruiting class that I was there (probably a bunch of 2/3 stars because i missed half the season)

It's too bad I left. I couldn't have used them this season, anyhow.

Claire and I got a tough draw, having to play Dom and JAE in consecutive weeks. Still haven't beaten JAE

Dom had me down 35-7 at one point, and ended up losing 49-35 when he quit.

Didn't quit. Grayson was crawling by the entertainment system and touched the eject button. I have the slim that has the capacitance touch button, so even a graze will activate it. Ask anyone in this league. I never quit. I've taken huge arse whippings from JAE and even lost big to frost and Fleur before, and never have quit. My DNF is 1%, and that was b/c of an internet drop.

The reason you won Claire, whether you had the intention to do so, or you lack the knowledge of how to do so as you claim, was the "rocket catch."

You were down 21-0 at one point, and that's when the first rocket hit Tiger Stadium. Put you down at my 20 or so, and you scored. 21-7. Then, with under :30 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, the safety of LSU fans was put in jeopardy once again when another rocket rocked the Stadium for about 60 yards. You then score with :03 sec left to make it 35-14.

I chew clock all third, and hold you to one TD, which was a legit drive. 35-21.

Then the 4th quarter hits, and a barrage of rockets like the world has never seen rains down. 35-35. Then, my KR fumbles on the ensuing kickoff, and OSU gets a quick 7. 42-35. My QB throws a pick (to where a HB had the leverage on the CB, but whatever) and it's soon 49-35. You scored the last TD on the CPU.

You raped me repeatedly by throwing a deep bomb to the 6'6" guy and taking control of the reciever, and catching the ball at its apex, making it indefensible. It's gayness. Maybe you don't know you're doing it. But you are. I had double coverage on that guy every time, no matter. Cover 3, Cover 4, Press, Double man, Agressive, Conservative, manually trying to swat or pick, all futile. Every time you threw it to him like that = big time catch.

For those of you who don't know, rocket catching is glitching, and will result in a boot, from this point forward. Once or twice, here and there is forgivable, but repeatedly, not cool.

I'm not mad at you Claire. I believe you when you say you don't know how to rocket catch and you wereen't trying to do so, but the fact remains that you were. Ask JAE, he'll confirm that you've done it against him several, several times.

Save for the rockets that terrorists lobbed into Death Valley that night, the Tigers would have emerged victorious.

Last year my big WR would just outrun the D, no need for a rocket catch

that's the way Jae explained it to me this morning as well. I thought rocket catching was when you would user the WR and manually control the catch like you could do in NCAA 12 with flag routes, where the wr would do that jump while turning animation.

I wasn't trying to cheese you in anyway Dom. Down big, of course i'm gonna have to start taking deep shots down the field, and i have 2 6'6, 90+ overall wr's to target. And i only went deep when i saw 1 on 1 coverage with your safety and one of my stud wr's. You give me 1 on 1 over the top and i'm gonna take it every time and hope my player makes the plays.

Cheese? Sounds like Dom's defense was cheese... SWISS CHEESE! Claire started praying, and Dom's pass D became all hol[e]y. Get it?!?

Sorry, Dom. I'm bored and it's not even 10am.

But on the real, I probably couldn't do a rocket catch for my life. Probably because my WRs are akin to Hot Hands from The Little Giants.

I don't think you were trying to.

Gally, a RC is more than just flinging up a prayer. It's manually jumping up to catch the ball at the apex of the jump height of the receiver.

I'm just saying I couldn't stop it. I have a 99 overall "D" with several 90+ overall Safeties and CBs, and there was no defense for it.

They were never in 1 on 1. I always had a CB on them and Safety help, unless I was playing zone, and there were at least two defenders in the area.
