So I'm starting a little team tradition. Much like the #18 for LSU, we have decided to designate #13 to represent a senior that has made an impact on the team.
The finalists:
1. Sean Miller CB- recruited as a FS, but was moved to corner for depth purposes. Was the teams nickel corner for 3 years. He accumulated many sacks and interceptions. He took a year to redshirt to relearn the FS position and now is starting his senior year. Also picked off JAESUS twice this year.
2. Marques Wilson WR- came in as a top player in the first signing class and has been a 4 year starter. He hasn't lived up to expectations, but has been a model of consistency in his 4 years. Catching the tough ball across the middle. Not a burner, but can make any catch.
3. Darryl Vinson CB- came in as a top recruit, and has started for 4 years. Almost set the career record for interceptions for TAMU in his first 2 years. Production has trailed off since but still is a lethal shutdown corner.
4. Kevin Wright RB- came in as a JC transfer. One of the fastest runners in the NCAA, and it usually takes multiple defenders to take him down. Ended last year on the heisman watch and is already putting together a great case for this years award. Only a 2 year starter, he averages 8 yards a carry for his career, and at times has literally put the offense on his back to win a tough game.
5. Ryan Estes LB- came in a 4* recruit. Has been the leader of the defense for all 4 years. Big and fast LB that can move laterally very well. Opposing players don't break his tackles. Has been great the last 4 years and will be missed.
The Winner- Kevin Wright- without him TAMU would have struggled to make a bowl last year, and would have no chance this year. He's the only player that JAESUS can't seem to atop and evoked multiple "what the frick!!!!" from the god himself.
I vote for

Nelly and I had a great game last night. I won at the big house 24-14. Defensive battle with a few big runs by LSU's stable of beasts to break it open and then put it away.

Aiiiight brewski I don't know if we play regular season but sure we'll meet in acc champ game sooner or later. How's the U this year?

Posted on 3/26/12 at 1:49 pm to mike76tiger
the U is probably going to struggle this year... i lost my STUD running back.. my QB is very fast.. none of my WRs are any good but i have a FS that could knock the head off of ikabod crane
i'll go 8-4 this year

mannn don't even get me started on gallagher
... there will be no sim action when it comes time for me to play him...
back story: him and i started our game late on a work night... i started beating him and pretty much took control of the game, then his internet *cough* craps out so i said frick it i gotta go to bed... so our game sims and syracuse winds up beating me and ends up in a BCS game at the end of the year

Sorry I haven't been on the thread in a while, I've just been really busy with school lately. And to comment on my game against Dom, his D-Line was mauling my O-line every play it seemed. I didn't really get anything going until the 4th but by then Dom was up by 2 TD's and there wasn't enough time for me to come back. It was a great game though
