Yeah that is very true. I guess i just like the excitement of user games at the end of the season where it becomes the deciding factor in who goes and who stays. Like last season where i beat BR and then he beat EZ allowing both Art and I to fall into the championship.

FYI, the investigation into illegal actions surrounding these events is still ongoing...

Well you earned your win in blacksburg. I was really really impressed with the speed you have. That option you busted for the first touchdown, my jaw dropped when you qb just dusted everyone. I need some speed at wideout and rb. Trust me, your trip to Michigan will be a breeze. They are horrible. I handily beat them with slow people.

Yeah it was a good game! That 1st quarter was pretty nuts but our defenses settled down (a little) after that.

The game changing play was NOT the last kick off return for 20 yards like the computer inexplicably decided (not sure why they picked that) but was probably the miraculous 3rd and 26 I somehow converted. That changed the game I think.

A great game though. Your QB is pretty quick too but your HB needs a bit more speed if he is to be useful.

That's one thing that they need to fix. Speed is NOT the ONLY thing that should matter but in this game it pretty much is.

No worries. My boss has been jerking off instead of setting work schedules for this week so I'm still not sure if I'm working tonight. If I'm not this evening sounds good.

Its that time of the season again, and we are looking for up to 4 players to join an XBOX 360 dynasty that is well-established with good players and moving into its 3rd season. Take a look at the front page for detailed info about the dynasty (sorry it is not up to date, I fried the mobo on my laptop and wont get my replacement till tomorrow).

If you are interested in joining, post your gamertag and choice of 3-star rated team in this thread or the dynasty thread here.

Canes Outlast Clemson 77-75 in Quadruple Overtime Thriller

Clemson, SC- The Miami football team got more than it bargained for when it rolled into Death Valley on a rainy Saturday evening. Not only did the Tigers come back from a 49-21 4th quarter deficit, they re-wrote everything that was known about physics in the process.

With Miami leading a completely one-sided affair in the 4th quarter, Clemson bench warmers made their first science-shattering breakthrough on the sideline. They found a loophole in the law of gravity, enabling a DB to fly above the crossbar and intercept an errant pass in the end-zone. On the ensuing play, Clemson capitalized on their second revision of science and a screen play where the receiver actually pitched the ball to himself, where he was waiting 5 yards behind and 10 yards to the left of his former position, taking the ball 84 yards for the score.

On the first Miami play after the kickoff, it appeared that Miami QB Mike Greenwood had thrown touchdown pass to Dan Adams. As Adams sprinted up the middle of the field, Brad Nessler decided to yell "Interception" and the ball teleported into the hands of the Clemson MLB who streaked down the opposite sideline for the pick-six. When asked to comment on his 5 INTs Greenwood smiled wryly and said, "I made one or two really poor passes, but you have to hand it to those Clemson defenders. They are e-lu-sive."

It was easy to see his frustration as the five INTs and only 9 touchdowns game him 12 and 15, respectively, for the year. Greenwood tossed five of his touchdowns to sophomore wide-out Kalechi Jude who also accounted for 209 of the 599 Miami passing yards.

As the fourth quarter progressed, the Miami spirit was so devastated by the shocks to modern scientific convention that they simply bounced off of tackles until the game was tied.

The overtime periods were slug fests as the Canes scored on the first play every time, but were answered by the Clemson attack each time.

"I was worried about the stamina of our guys near the end," commented Hurricanes embattled coach, Nasty. "Even though our 'D' gave up 330 yards, the magic number for the game was 332," he said, referring to the stuffed 2 point conversion attempt of Clemson that ended the game."I'm proud of the fortitude those guys showed."

Miami leaves the game unranked, but with a 2-1 (1-0) record Clemson dropped to 0-2 (0-1) on the season.

News and Notes:
Miami QB Mike Greenwood has thrown for over 1400 yards through his first 3 games behind center.

The Canes led in T.O.P. 12 minutes to just 8 for Clemson.

Coach Nastynelly was overheard joking with his head scout, "We obviously need to target the smart kids this time around."
He also vehemently denied the claims that he was considering. A jump to the SEC to takeover a floundering LSU program, which is also his Alma Mater.

Supaman and I had the game of the ages!

35-28 PSU wins in Sanford Stadium.

It was a great game all the way through but the final minute was insane! PSU was up 28-20 and the Dawgs had 4-22 from there 10 yard line. He throws up a bomb and catches it, breaks a tackle and take it to the house. 28-26. 30 seconds left.

Makes the 2 point conversion. Tie ball game.

I get the ball with 30 seconds. Start off about the 40. Run twice, hoping to sneak in a big run to get into field goal range but he stuffs it both times. With 15 seconds left I throw a bomb to my man who had beat his deep coverage. Touchdown!!

PSU scores the game winner with 8 seconds remaining.

Supaman has this 99 speed freshman RB who was eating my D alive until he broke his collarbone. Out for the year. Sucks but quite possibly saved the game for Penn State.

Heck of a game.

You are getting through the hardest part of your schedule it seems. Looks like an early front runner for the NC? How'd your QB do in the game?

My offense is finally starting to click. My defense isn't where it has been in the past couple of years. I'm pretty worried about my D. Thank god I have a few weeks before a user game. My recruiting is going horrible too. This will most likely be a VERY down year in Tallahassee.

Also, it seems like there has been a ton of good user games. This already is shaping up to be our most exciting year. This has got me pretty pumped up and I can't wait to see how it pans out. Good luck to all, let's keep the bad arse year going!!!

Bosewell i'm pretty sure we play, when can you get at it?

My QB tore it up. Went aboutt 15-19 for 270 yards. 4 passing TD and I think ran one in.

The running game was tough. Supaman ran a 4-4 defense and slowed it down.

Nothing but CPU games now until the end of the year.

You outscore the computer 122-0 and it is a down year? I don't even understand how you score that much. You must intercept the computer every play and then score on the subsequent offensive play.

I remember there were some unhappy people when UF was playing Demps at DE, what's the consensus on an OLB at DE? I got crushed because I couldn't stop the run and because I'm an 81 level team, but I didn't think this was fair either. I want to know what the league's opinion is on making these kinds of depth charts. If it's ok by everyone else, then it doesn't matter to me.

It's a formation on defense called linebacker pass rush and it's available to everyone. Nothing new and not like putting a rb at DE.

He's #2 on your depth chart for DE.
