This thing is going to be close. If Florida wins someone gets left out. I think I have the SOS to get me in the MNC.
I'm hoping i got enough love for beating the #1 team in the nation. If not and florida wins then i'm calling for a split.

i dislike when the AI decides its going to play ten times better giving you a hard time. I took a commanding 21 - 0 lead only to see it turn into a 21 - 14 lead in 10 seconds. a Short passing TD followed by a fumble ont he kick off for a TD, then it seemed all my drives began stalling and they were moving the ball at will. It ended with a blow out but it was just ridiculous the shite cincy was getting away with.

I gave them a pep talk since it's my team from the other league, lol.

well watch out for louisville i see you play them in 2 weeks. Their defense is better then it looks and offensively they actually used the running back and he's a beast.

NIU has a beast of a RB, too. The cpu doesn't trend towards a team's strengths, though, so they still try to mix in plays according to the playbook of that team I assume.
I have a lot of recruits coming that week, so I'll have to be at the top of my game.

Returning 20 starters from a team headed to the NC game this year.
BCS is FLAWED, unless Florida State beats Florida, Then its perfect.

Cene, you are welcome. 31-24 Fl St pulls out the win. There was a no call on a facemask that caused a fumble at the end of the game, but I'm not complaining. One of only two turnovers in the game. Looks like we have a Notre Dame West Virginia championship game unless the BCS screws things up.

FSU Officials deny allegations that university boosters paid an unknown sum of money to have the officiating crew "throw" the recent game against Florida. As the Gators Jeff Demps was scampering toward the endzone to score the game tying TD with 1:17 left he was tackled by his facemask. This in turn caused him to fumble the ball, and FSU recovered at the two yard line. The replay clearly shows the infraction, but yet the officials kept their flags in their pockets.
The Big East officiating crew vehemently denies any such involvment but head referee Johnson conveyed the following after the game: "We (the officiating crew) take pride in coming to work and doing our absolute best each and every Saturday. It was a judgment call. We judged that there was no foul on the play. End of story. If WVU just so happens to benefit from that call and go on to the BCS NC game, then so be it."
This statement has led some to believe that WVU may have been involved in under the table dealings along with FSU in this matter although it is not clear at this time. An NCAA investigation is already underway.
The game was close and tied at 14 at the half. FSU got the ball first in the second half and added 7. Florida answered with a FG, but FSU returned the insuing kickoff for another TD. On it's next drive UF was unable to get anything going and had to punt. FSU capitalized on a FG and things looked bleak for the Gators. Their D had not produced a stop all day long.
It took several minutes and a couple of 4th down conversions but UF got the TD they needed on a Demps run up the middle. Still down by 7 the Gator D returned to the field. A quick 3 and out left UF with 2:30 to find a TD that would force OT. The Gators pushed inside the FSU 10 yard line. The call came to Demps and he followed his blockers up the middle into the waiting arms of a LB. All the defender could find to bring Demps down before he got to the endzone was a facemask.
The no call sent Gator nation into a frenzy. At first there were cheers as they were expecting a 1st down inside the 5. Then there was stunned disbelief at the absence of yellow cloth on the field, and finally turned to pandemonium as FSU took over at the 2. With no timeouts left the Gators watched as the seconds slipped agonizingly away.
It is still unclear whether or not Demps would have actually gotten into the endzone on that play, or if UF would have even scored to tie the game, or if that happened that FSU would not have driven the ball far enough to score again before time expired. However, these are questions that will always surround this game now known for it's "Phantom Flag."
One thing is for certain. I would not want to have to face Florida in the SEC championship in Atlanta.
Good game BR you outplayed me but I was able to keep the score close. Not close enough though.

yeah well I am officially open the Jeff Demps does the steroids allegations. Anyone that can be up for the Heisman on both sides of the ball, well something is definitely in the gatoraid. At least UM ran a "clean" program.
I am excited for my match-up with Cene. This may have been the best season so far. Not because I made the ship, but overall it really came down to the last 3 games to decide who went.

I'm happy to say that all my players are very humble about the opportunity to play in the national championship. We look forward to our match up with Notre Dame. They are a very solid ball club and preperation will begin as soon as the regular season is over.
West Virginia Athletic Director issued a statement in regards to the "allegations" of foul play by the Big East during the Florida State/Florida matchup. West Virginia has also allowed the NCAA to begin investigating any such allegations. West Virginia assures its fans and the media and all others that it in no way was responsible for any such foul play.
A public congratulatory was announced earlier for Florida State University on a hard fought victory and another opportunity for an ACC Title. We have also issued a statement to the University of Florida wishing them the best of luck in the SEC Championship and a congratulations on a hard fought season.
I have also issued a statement to the University of West Virginia and assure both students and allumni and our boosters that a repeat of 2007 will not occur. We will not look past our final opponent in hopes for playing in a National Championship. I look forward to the opportunity to compete in the Championship and I look forward to being a member of this university and this family for years to come.
