So last week I had 23 players visit for my rivalry game with Miami. I had only four players commit and two soft. Pretty sad

I need that ATH too! I think you are right about the DT. I need replacements all over the feild though. I think I have a bunch of guys leaving this season. Biggest concern now is DBs. I'll take them any shape or size.

I just figured out that the 4-2-5 uses two SS and two CB instead of 4 CB, a FS and a SS. I've been recruiting CB's like crazy and won't use them, lol.
Does anyone know how it picks which two LB's are the "2" in that defense?

You can always sub in CB for your SS if you are wanting to stop the pass a bit more. I usually put a FS in one of those spots.

lazypete...its cool bout the games and the connection i really wanted to play against someone and see how my team really faired. i got beat by OU in the first game but i didnt even have an impact player on my team then. im not gonna pull too many 5 stars this year, but i will be picking up a few at key defensive spots see u in tampa/jax

Honestly, I think you have a bad arse team. Marve has a cannon, Arthur Brown and Fortson are beasts, and you have some good young receivers like Johnson. I'm not just saying that either. I was surprised by how good your team was. O-line looked pretty decent too. I'm going to have to have really good recruiting classes the next few years to keep up with you in the ACC.

yeah marve is just erratic with his accuracy. even if he humms the pass out there it rarely fits through the window like it should...too many sliding catches and the like. speed is killing me i cant use marves arm because i cant get a receiver to get enough separation to prevent a cb swat. i appreciate the thoughts and hopefully i can crack the top 25 after we advance

first off the score wasn't anywhere close to what it looks. Most of UTEP's points came off of long td passes trying to play catch up. I did however give up a 40, 79, 73 yard td pass, two to the same guy all on missed tackles.
i started the game great, my defense shut down their offense and i then i quickly scored, well i decided i'd switch to my second unit and it broke my momentum quick. Eventually got it back and was up 28 - 7 before they scored and we basically went score for score after.
Stats:
Vanderbilt:
Total yards: 391
Rushing yards: 122
passing yards: 269
UTEP
Total yards: 383
Rushing yards: 46
passing yards 337

13 - 21 143 yrds 3TD 1 INT (thrown with :30 seconds left)

2 - 3 53 yards 1TD
J. Funk
2 - 2 73 yards 1TD
i played both first and second string offenses well my second unit QB got hurt and i never realized i was playing with my third string on his second pass he threw a TD.

26 carries for 109 yards first 100 yard rushing game this season.

We will advance tonight as soon as the user game is played. Thereafter, we will advance again as soon as everyone had completed their games, or thursday night around 9, whichever comes earlier.

Starting a freshman QB last whenever the game starts. My game vs OSU last year was simmed and my only big 10 loss last year... time fo' some revenge huh?
