tried...but i just like fast reloading...i've been in the middle of a firefight with someone using Painkiller...and had to reload...and was still able to get the kill

The hardest thing to get used to is not reloading after you've killed someone. Helps ALOT. If you have more than half a mag left, and may not have time to reload, dont. That has helped me a TON. You may run out shooting person #2, but if you're accurate enough, a mag can last up to three kills.

ETA This is for the FAMAS or M16 or any burst weapon, not so much for the full autos.

ETA AGAIN

HOWEVER,
if you wait until the mag is empty, it takes longer to reload as you have to chamber a round. If you can reload with one or two shots left, it'll make for a quicker reload, just not as fast as with SoH

It helped me tremendously to move to Scavenger Pro.

Scavenger is money when the other team has a lot of air support. I've ran around trying to get killed before just to get 2 more stingers when not using scavenger.

Scavenger Pro is the shite. I don't use a secondary weapon when I have that perk on just a stinger missle.

THIS. If you're running low in your mag, aim high. ALWAYS works. (Aim high everytime, but mostly I just try to get sure kills with body shots.)

I was too. Hard habit to break.

Just make sure to pay attention to your ammo and you'll be fine.

I constantly get assisted headshots just from being shot and the impact making my weapon pop up. That's always fun

But, if you feel like you have a moment, reload.

Obviously. The waiting to reload thing is just if you're in a pinch and you know you'll be running into people before you can reload or if it will be close.

I hate getting caught reloading. Even more than I hate Commando.

Scavenger Pro is money with three-round weapons. Those weapons are natural ammo conservers. You can control your output. I've tried doing the burst fire thing on my full autos. It's effective, but it takes some getting used to.

I always try and use my autos like they're semi-autos unless someone surprises me and I "ZOMGHOLDDOWNTRIGGER"

All this gun talk makes me want to go shoot. =\

im surprised so many ppl say to use Scav pro. I had some good success sniping on underpass with Scav pro/Claymores/shotgun but didnt necc. think that scav pro would be worthwhile on nonsnipe classes

If you use a SCAR you need it IMO. Those magazines empty too fast.

HUGE on non snipe. Like I said before, you start with 180 rounds rather than 90 or 60. You (in theory) never run out of ammo, stuns or grenades. Works great if your moving around the map because there will always be stuff for you to pick up.

i wouldnt want to give up a silencer/scope but to each his own

good tips though, nothing worse than being 1 kill away from a KS and not having ammo on your primary

I redid 2 of my classes after we raped Houston. I now have 5 classes set up with TAR variations. a DRUG DEALER set up and a M4A1 setup...
