Nicks says the deal is respectable. If they can get him under contract, this is a huge win for the Saints long term. Colston realized he was a system WR and wasn't going to get paid big money being that he doesn't possess speed and breakaway ability.

Nicks and Evans are great guys to have for a long time on the line.

The Saints might wind up cutting Vilma and Sed Ellis as well as watching Tracy Porter, Robert Meachem, Abrayo Franklin and Shaun Rodgers walk.

They are going to have to be very creative in free agency, but getting Colston and Nicks signed are big. Drew will get his money, but I am disappoint in it not being done yet. It can't get done this year...he's going to be owed too much, unless they defer a huge chunk to next year.

The draft will suck hard...looks like Goodell is going to futtbuck them hard with draft picks over the bounty thing.
