Steam Summer Sale 2019

Apparently it begins today. Hoping to pick up some titles I held off on at launch because I was playing other things. Hoping for at least a 25-50% discount on Sekiro. Also hoping for a large discount on Imperator Rome.
Also hoping for a small discount on Rage 2 and Tropico 6, but since those are newer, I’m not getting my hopes up.

Steam sales are a shadow of their former glory. However maybe with epic around now they'll up their game

In the email I got it said they were going to bring back some of the old "gimmicks". I didn't see flash sale listed so who knows how good it will be.

I actually went over to the dark side because Epic has had some pretty solid deals. Steam does need to up their game so hopefully we get some glory days discounts.

I want to buy some cheap games that are much cheaper with the sale.
Mostly rogue-likes. I justify the purchase by thinking how many quarters would I spend on it at the arcade? 5 quarters? 10? Well how much does it cost on sale? About the same? Sure, I'll try it!

100% accurate. Only looking forward to this one because there are actually big games I didn’t pick up on launch this year due to playing other games and not wanting that two week refund window to expire.

Here we go again. They have prices jacked up then show a discount. I've already spotted a few that weren't even close to the price yesterday.

Oh yes. On mobile app and it’s painful. I can’t use my desktop or work WiFi. But i did see good discounts on games I want. Will pick up when I get home

I have it in my wishlist, but I just saw Katamari Reroll is listed at $17.99 and I'm pretty sure it was $19.99.

If you haven't played Metro, the Metro Redux bundle is $8 for 2 games.
If you like survival, the Klei bundle has all of the Don't Starve games along with Oxygen not included.

Is South Park 2 for $6 worth it?
I liked the first one, but many didn't like the second one.
I know that the fighting mechanic is different with player placement and direction facing a la Final Fantasy Tactics.
Already bought a handful of games that were $3.00 and less.
