I think it comes from sneaking and searching stuff.

I was pissed when I realized I could have done the specialization that makes every door unlocked and searching silent.

No idea. Most likely just from doing missions

I think it has something to do with working in pairs. One of my guys had Marcus as backup for a long time, and my leadership went up two levels. Both times after Marcus grabbed a zombie while I bashed his skull (which we did alot). Not sure if its just the time together, or actually working as a pair to kill zeds.

Figuring out special moves is like opening boxes on Christmas morning and finding GI Joe toys.

While Holding A and running into zombie if you tap X the character will perform a crow hop knifes wipe or a flying double donkey kick leg kick that knocks them down.

I gotsta get me some of that

I totally forgot about learning special moves.

I'm not usually one to do this, but I could see myself playing this game for second run thru, especially since they're going to patch it.

Haven't shot Alan yet and have yet to visit the judge. I don't care about the story right now. I'd rather scavenge and explore.

My issue right now is storage. I hate loadingup all kinds of stuff only to come back later and see that I "lost" a bunch of crap b/c I didn't have space. I'm gonna find some more folks to join up with us and make a move to the truck stop. Maybe check out that farm someone mentioned earlier. I'm also going to make my way back to the church town and rummage around there for a bunch of crap I didn't explore.

Damn this game. It's highly addictive.

I built a storage shed in the truck stop. It's "built in" so apparently you can't upgrade it. I have plenty of room though.

As this is an open world with finite resources (each time you plunder a house its icon changes on your map, indicating here's nothing left there of any use to the community) there's a mounting sense that you're in a race to make it to the story's conclusion before the last can of soda or food packet is purloined.

Never considered this. Still have plenty of buildings in the world but Im breaching and clearing like a boss. :aintskeered:

An app would work really well. Would keep you immersed all day.

So I finally took over the truck stop. Love it. I put three outpost around the immediate perimeter. Any suggestions for other outposts spots?

Combat Nuggets....

quote:

For Powerhouse characters, the wrestling skill is useful as it allows you to chain kill a TON of enemies with little stamina loss or effort. Simply hit (LB + B ) to start a suplex, then tap Y as fast as possible to flapjack the enemy for an auto kill. works on regular zombies and screamers (Untested on other types)

quote:

If you go edged weapon spec, you get an ability that cuts zombies at the knees. They stay where they go down and die shortly after. aka guaranteed 1 hit kill. And it's LB + Y so you can run at zombies and do it. Really effective at cutting enemy force down quick.
quote:

Feral zombies can easily be killed by simply pressing B when you see them leap. They miss you and are exposed to an easy LB+Y.
quote:

If zombies follow you toward a building, close the doors and wait for the zombie to bang on it. Then double press X on the door to send the door slamming open and the zombie either flying to its death or a knockdown.
quote:

Y = Kick , Powerhouse characters can unlock a SPARTAN KICK that is executed by HOLDING Y

For the heavy weapons specialty move, their is one that takes their legs out too.

It's funny how I thought the fighting was so repetitive in this game. Then I figured out all the incredible moves.

You can also just run into the door. That's what I usually do. I like doing that more than jumping in windows.

Yea, how do you specialize? Might be hard for me to do since I rotate my people more than LSU does a lineman.

Any tips on healing someone from "serious blood loss"?

I had a medical lab and all kinds of stuff. Marcus isn't getting any better.....
