I think the demo gave a sufficient taste as to what you would be getting into.

Maybe in the next week or two we can compile a list of what we liked and didn't like and send it off to these guys.

i'll go save their arse, but best believe they are gonna come with me and watch my back as i clear a infestation or search thru some houses.

The main reason I constantly do these missions. I told my friend who had already beaten the game to try this and he was shocked he never thought of it.

Has anyone moved into the carnival area?

I haven't come across that area yet. I'm depleting around the church first. I thought about moving into the dinosaur area but setting up outposts won't be as effective.

I'd strongly suggest moving to the Trucking Area in Marshall. You can set up mutliple areas pretty easily. I think I have everything but a garden and something else. Surrounded by warehouses with building material in them so you can upgrade quickly.

I have outpost all around it. Hordes get fricked whenever they get near it.

I can't wait for them to fix the damn too many infestations glitch though

Yea, the infestations glitch is a pain. Where is the truck stop at in Marshall? How exactly do outposts take out hordes? The traps just do their jobs?

When you come into town there is a gas station to your right then it is the very next building. It is pretty damn big and has a barbwire fence around it.

Yeah, It is pretty fun to watch. As soon as they step into the area of an outpost they all just catch on fire.

I'm waiting until the update is out then I am going to do my second play through.

I have definitely gotten $60 enjoyment out of a $20 game

Only time I ever really used one was to shoot a screamer in the head, blow up those fat ones before they could get near me, or to kill the big uns.

Has anyone attempted to get the achievement for running over all the different freak zombies? I need some tips on how to run over the big fricker without him destroying whatever vehicle I am in.

Don't have a good tip, but I can tell you that I had a hard time trying to kill that big zed. I used a truck to the point it exploded and shot me out of the car. I then found a second truck and ran him over until it exploded as well. Luckily the explosion killed him and I got the achievement.

The down side was that by that time I had two zombie hordes and three swat zombies on my tail in the middle of bfe with no vehicles in sight. I narrowly escaped death that time. I was freaking out because it was my second best character.

This is basically what happened to me minus the killing him and the achievement part. I luckily had enough food on me that I could just hall arse out of there.

You will need multiple vehicles. I find I get more life out of the car if you are backing up into him rather than ramming him with the front end. Maybe someone else can test my theory as well.

I think it's a bit ridiculous how difficult those biguns are. What's different about their heads that a shotgun blast won't put them down?

Grenades do some good work on them I just wish that mechanic was easier to handle. I watched one of them rip Maya in half last night.

I've wasted many petrol bombs that way. Aiming goes on my list for them to add.

pro tip.....

Make sure to outfit your survivors with some of the supply box gear. They have a heck of a time defending themselves with the default no gun and a shovel or frying pan. Also they don't seem to need to be rescued as much.

I can't believe I just realized that my outpost around the truckstop continuously supply food and Construction materials. FML

That's ALOT of construction runs that could have been spent looking for ammo.

And I have tons of grenade launcher ammo, but no grenade launcher. Where is that found?
