Sony is a dumpster fire right now if it werent for third party talent theyd be sunk like the fools they are. Things I saw I liked
Lies of P DLC
Stellar blade and Nike crossover DLC
and some game that idk if it has a title but it has the woman in a very FF15 style looking world had my interest.
ETA: Just responded to OP without reading thread, the trailer above me is the third game I meant tides of whatever and now that ive seen much more I am basically sold on it
2 of these are DLC and idk when the hell the other will be named or if it actually exist. Please just april come for my dear dear Claire Obscure

Agreed. Looks more Devil May Cry than "souls" combat and that's fine by me. I'm strongly of the opinion shorter, faster paced games are where it's at these days. Give me a 20-30 hour game full of extremely tight, awesome gameplay and I'm happy.
Eastern devs are absolutely crushing western devs in the fun department these days. Western devs focused on everything under the sun except actual fun.

Looked a lot into the lies of P DLC and what the director has said about it. He said when it releases in the summer the two whole years of work will be extremely evident. It’s apparently a prequel to from when you woke up during the beginning of the game, and he talks about this being essentially a directors cut. I wonder if the DLC will play as a prequel to the base game or a separate load in. I found this bizarre because I think me and the rest of the world expected it to be past game featuring Alice in wonderland
Either way excited for that and the stellar blade stuff looks like both coming in June but we have Claire obscure in April.

That’s not saying much. They both still suck regardless. The PS5/Series X generation has and looks like it will go down as a complete and utter failure. Over 5 years into the generation and we still barely have any games that are true current gen looking games. It’s almost like they are scared to use the full power and potential of the two consoles. Continuing to cater to last gen and the series S is screwing this gen’s Xbox and PS5.

Depends on the profits. If the profit margin hasn't changed since the MS/ABK FTC case leak, then it is absolutely a failure. I can't find more recent Playstation-specific numbers for profit margin, so they may have figured it out since then. Not worth my time to dig through filings.

Just because the PS5 is selling a lot of consoles doesn’t mean that the majority of the games put out still aren’t disappointing.

The fact that we are now looking to China to provide us with the best gaming experiences is hilarious to me considering video games were illegal until like the mid-2000s.

This sucks. I would throw $10 at it for some new content and the PS5 upgrade just in hopes that they would make a second game. But no way would I pay $50 for it. It looks fine on the PS5 now. They won’t make it look $50 better
