So, I want to learn how to Play Magic The Gathering

Im thinking about playing MTG Arena tonight. The problem is..I have no real idea how to play or even build a deck. I had friends try to teach me a bit in the past..like years ago but none of it stuck. So I think im going to stream it tonight and hope that I can find some people to teach me how to build a deck and how to play. Would anyone here be interested in helping me?

Fellow Magic player here, both arena and table top.
Your best bet is to just get familiar with the precon decks the game gives you until you learn the ins and outs of the game. You can tweak them to your liking as you earn rewards.
Also, YouTube. This guy is pretty good at deck building.
Merchant
It can be overwhelming at first because there are so many different things to take into account. Stick with it though, it will start to come naturally. My tabletop buddy has become a much better player since playing Arena since it does such a good job of making you understand the phases and rules.

Play Pokemon tcg bro
Edit: I played magic competitively for a while. Toxic as frick community and I got bored of it. After playing Pokemon for a while, I like how it's not as top decking and more search provoking

It's sad how people equate Pokemon TCG with child's play.

It's a great card game. Probably my favorite after finally learning all the rules.

You have a girlfriend and good hygiene. Those things disqualify you from MTG.
