So I just finished Far Cry 5

Like the credits just rolled and I stepped outside and some yahoo in a golf cart is slowly cruising down my street blasting Amazing Grace....one of life little moments when the matrix winks at you

I love FC5. Believe I have 60-70hrs in but never beat the game. I just have to finish it but never wanted to, just too busy exploring.

Is it that much better than FC1? Can’t seem to get into that one.

Not Sure If Serious. FC3 was the best story-wise, but IMO FC4 and FC5 are so much more fun because of the detailed encounter world. You can really get lost running around within those environments.
The DLC but really stand-alone game "New Dawn" is pretty good. Believe it is only $15 bucks, maybe cheaper.

I never played the first one on PC....just the console version which was more of a linear shooter. It's an open world Ubisoft game so you probably know the drill if you play them but it is fun playground to shoot and blow shite up. The towns folk are pretty funny too.

Does New Dawn have the Rook or Joseph Seed in it? I guess it's a new protagonist

New Dawn is the bad ending, reborn after shtt goes down at the end.

NEver finished Far Cry 5. It was too repetitive. Each boss zone was structured the same way, give me a little diversity. Also, not a huge fan of having NPC sidekicks in games unless its KOTR or FF style.
That said, Far Cry 3 is a really good game.

Yea I was a little disappointed at how repetitive the section leaders bases were laid out as well. I kinda liked the NPC s though.. later in the game you can get a cougar and a bear that were fun to run around with.
