Hi all! I'm thinking about purchasing an account of an online game. However I have no idea how to protect myself from getting scammed.
Is getting the login good enough? I dont want to buy it, then spend money to build it up only to have it taken somehow by the original owner.
How would I secure the account?

Like your email most accounts have recovery features from when the account was created.
Most games now you will never actually be safe from having the account taken back.
Additionally you have to realize you're dealing with young kids/adults most of the time who will gladly take your money and not give you shite. Best advice, if you would be pissed about coming away with nothing in the trade, which is a 50/50 chance at best usually, then don't do it
