A rumor is currently making the rounds regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 and the holy grail of video game projects: Rockstar actually deciding to make single player story DLC for its games again. The rumor, from a throwaway reddit account who claims to know an artist at Rockstar (serious red flags abound here, so beware), says that Red Dead will be releasing alien-centric DLC in early in 2020, similar to the standalone zombie Undead Nightmare adventure for the original game, and you'd be playing once again as Arthur.

There are also two meteors that have fallen that you can find around the map and log in your journal. They are points of interest.

Currently you can only find 2/3.

Good to see this is getting some traction...the Red Dead mysteries subreddit has been somewhat saying this is likely for some time. I really hope it happens.

ETA: will also point out that there were aliens and UFO’s in GTAV and we know how DLC was treated there

A few reports of finding NPC zombies have started to pop up in both online and single player.....could just be the beginning of a Halloween event, but who knows. Will be pretty cool if they actually managed to somehow make this an epidemic that will slowly take over the map.

Rumor mill is starting to suggest soon since they just released their own stupid arse launcher as well. Probably will be exclusive to it instead of using other launchers this time.

Other launchers outside of Steam are terrible.

Well Blizzard and Origin are "okay", but that Epic launcher gives me all sorts of hell.

I still refuse to install it and still have rocket league removed from everything I own. I had to have them ban a few of my email addresses including my main one because some assholes in Russia and China signed up with my emails and kept sending verification and password change requests to my email. I hope they spent money on those accounts because it's all gone now.

I did it for Control.

Gave in. It's a number of bugs with the launcher. Doesn't play well with having the launcher on 1 drive, games on another drive and the system files on another.

Origin still contains the auto always On Origin Webhelper Service that has to be manually shutdown and even blocked or it runs 24/7/365. A full decade at least after hundreds of thousands, if not millions of complaints, about the thing found still running up to years after last signing out of Origin.

One of my PC's I still have to manually turn off Origin Webhelper and the old thing isn't capable of running new games even. EVERY restart of the PC that questionable "service" restarts itself. With Origin deleted! and uninstalled!

That is easy to solve.

Unlike Epic where it is just shite.

It's such a good game. Really is a masterpiece.

It just isn't fun. Too many cutscenes and slow pace nothing.

Yes I understand the intent. But the cutscenes just throw me out of the progression. Can't do cutscenes when the pace is already slow.

It also looked like shtt in 4K on the Pro. Forgot what the effect is called when texture edges have that Halo effect. Kinda hurt my old eyes.

fricking hell. I really want RDR2 on PC, but I will not buy if it's not on Steam.

Even if you buy it on steam it still requires the launcher to run. At least that's what's happened with GTA 5.
