I was skeptical of first person RE but RE7 delivered, I'm fine with that style for RE8.
Werewolves sounds pretty meh though. The only thing that was lackluster about RE7 was the Molded mobs, never found them particularly scary or intimidating. At least there will be actual zombies again.

Really adored VII. Hope they continue with the VR support for the mainline, non-remake games

I played it in VR and was relieved the game turned into fights w/ the molded
.. The first half was legit the scariest shite I've seen/played.

Jack roaming the house to kill your arse was stressful as hell in VR.
I thought the molded were a pain in the arse with their janky movement. Once you got a shotgun with enough ammo to actually use it, everything got a bit easier.

capcom has been doing well with resident evil ever since 7.
I’m hopeful they can continue the trend. I just hope they don’t make ethan into yet another overused govt agent badass like Leon and Chris. Part of ethans appeal is that he was a fish out of water which allowed the player to immerse themselves better into the game.
