I honestly can't believe some people think this game sucks. Best I've played in a while. I much rather this than mw2.

You get a satchel that allows you to carry more consumables.

ETA: If you can recognize the landmarks, they are super easy to find. However, I am horrible at this type of stuff, so someone actually posted the locations of each. Just do a google. The hardest one was #4 IMO.

Kill some wolves. They travel in packs. 4 or 5 at a time will add up. Once you get to a certain honor level, you get like double the money for the stuff you sell. 18 for a heart, 15 for the pelt, and 8(i think) for the meat. Kill a couple of packs and you got yourself a good 300-400.

Also, buy a bandanna from Thieves landing tailor store. If you wear it, you can rob people and your honor and fame don't change. However, it won't go up if you do something good, either.

That sucks. Can you rope a new one and keep it?

If not, I would do some good stuff to get your honor back up. I would play the game good, then go rob people. However,.....SPOILER

In Blackwater, I chose not to kill the prohibitionist and I warned him of the plot to kill him. Now, all of my drinks and vacant properties are twice as much to purchase and there are prohibitionist in every town trying to convert people. I should have bandanna'ed up and killed him.

i've tried that. sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't. the stupid arse black horse shows back up.

...it's too late for me, i've already crossed over into the dark side saint. i gave the man money for a hooker and then shot and killed the nun seeking funds for her church. not to mention probably well over 100 random murders.

it's fun being an outlow. weird shite happens once you get to being so bad, well besides always being pursued very quickly by lawmen and bounty hunters....like when i stroll into town the dog in the street will bark and chase me.

then when playing poker people in the background are always whispering rumors about me.

I believe they are in Tall Trees. I haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm pretty sure the bears are there and maybe the beavers.

Both are there and let me just say Bears suck arse. Be on a horse for a fighting chance. They knock you down and maul you. Usually on a horse your horse dies right away and you have a chance to stand up and heal. Dead eye works against them pretty well with a good weapon. Bobcats are in tall trees as well not just in Mexico and Owls fly at night. Eagles are in Tall Trees and the feathers sell really well as well as beavers. Best way I found to knife the cougars was to shot them with a pistol once to wound them and then lasso them to stun them and knife but keep your horse handy they will run their arse off to get away and bait you into more of them.

And for those claiming they are broke I don't know how. Money is easy in this game. I loot everyone I kill for money and ammo and kill animals and skin them and sell everything. Easy money I am well over 8K and I have everything I can buy at the moment except horses as I bought a fast horse and if he dies I can re summon him from the deed which is cool cause cougars love to ambush me and kill my fricking ride as well as bears. Also snakes are all over on the ground hard to see but if you have the volume turned up you can hear them they all seem to be rattle snakes.

a trick I'm not sure if everyone knows about is that if you ride your horse so that it is directly standing over a dead animal, when you dismount, you can skin the animal really quick w/o going through the whole skinning deal
