Question for PlayStation guys

If I sign on, but always choose the “appear offline” option, does my profile still update to my friends that I have signed on recently? Or will it continue to say “last online more than a month ago” or something like that.

Not true. My friend keeps his status as “Appears Offline” when he wants to play single player only. It shows last online 11 days ago but he was playing Elden Ring today.

It will update your recently played games. It won't update the time you last played.
IE. You have been playing under "show offline" for 6 months. It will say you haven't been on in 6 months.
If you buy a brand new game that came out last week and start playing it, it will show up on your recently played games list. And the list will continue to change to reflect what you are currently playing.
But it will still say you haven't logged on in 6 months.

Why don’t you just act like an adult and tell your friends you don’t want to play right now
