Looks really easy to do, pop the cover on the bottom, unscrew it, slide out HDD, remove the 4 screws, pop in my other HDD, screws, in, screw, done.

Anyone else done this? Any tips or is it really this easy?

I downloaded a couple of PS+ free games and upon installing 2nd one, it said I don't have enough room on my stock 120GB Slim and I've got my old laptop HDD (2.5") that's 750GB I can pop in it and never have to worry again.

ETA: Is there anything else I need off my old PS HD? Since I have PS+ all my game saves are backed up Online so no worries there, don't have any music or videos and just finished downloading the 4.11 update and put in on my thumb drive.

Not totally sure I am following your whole message but it is very easy. If you got your saved games then you are fine installing the new one. I couldn't tell if you had done the install already or if you were asking before you did.

Any which way just do the simple install and copy your saved games over (and put down your bong for a bit before you do it)

So I'm in the process of saving all my game saves back onto my new HDD from the Cloud, and it really sucks that you have to do this one by one.

I also notice the saves go a lot quicker, I'm guessing the stock HDD is a 5200rpm and this new one is a 7200rpm, definitely a little quicker saving files.
