Can't link it at the moment, but anyone other than Noz see PlayerUnknowns tweet about "prologue?"

the forbes article on the twitter account mentions scale quite a bit, but you have to figure its still gotta be limited to the rigs people are running.

If there’s one crucial piece of information that Brendan Greene wants you to know about Prologue, which was just revealed in a teaser at the Game Awards, it’s this: it’s not PUBG 2. It’s not going to be a shooter, either. All we know so far, really, is that it’s going to be something else.
quote:
There isn’t yet much indication of what kind of game Prologue will be. But there’s a visual fidelity to the teaser that sets it immediately apart from PUBG, which had never made its name on photorealistic graphics. That technical leap is part of what Greene wanted to do with this game: Prologue refers to the beginning of a longer process for PlayerUnknown productions, a way of testing and building new tech for something bigger.
“This is the first step in the journey for me,” he says. “We set up the studio, and founded it with the goal of experimenting with new technology. Now we’re taking that first step towards building new technologies, and Prologue is the first step into the new world for us. I wanted the chance to deliver something new on a global scale.”
quote:
“One of my dreams is to create worlds at scale,” says Greene. “Hundreds of kilometers by hundreds kilometers, with thousands of people, and these are hugely difficult problems to solve”.
As to how PlayerUnknown productions will go about approaching these problems, all we have to go on right now is a single shot of a dark forest with some swirling leaves and a glitched screen in the middle. But the scale of those dreams is likely informed by Greene’s own rapid ascension from PlayerUnknown, the ARMA 2 modder, to PlayerUnknown, the globally recognized game developer. PUBG is many things, but at its heart it’s a kind of vehicle for remarkable stories and moments drawn out of a harsh world.
“I'm doing this to share my experiences with people and give them cool gameplay experiences,” he says. “With PUBG I have all these people coming up to me and telling me their stories, and it inspires me to affect people in that way. It's humbling that I can do that, and given the chance to do that again.”

Oh, that's the other game he's been working on. I hope it fails miserably.

I would love to see the look on his face when it fails, after he has spent millions of dollars creating the studio and paying developers.
He should have went the Rocket Hall route and went mountain climbing, except he falls to his death.
