PS5 vs Xbox Series X: Racing Games

I’m debating on which will be the best for strictly racing games. I’m historically a PS guy, but made the switch to Xbox One which has (imo) far better racing games with the forza series. I was a huge Gran Turismo and swore on it vs forza. However, I think the forza series has passed them up in terms of Xbox one vs PS4.

Mainline Grand Turismo has not had a release since PS3. 7 should be coming out next year.

Xbox is the more reliable bet for this at the moment

That is what I was saying. GT sport did not even have Simulation mode. Which is what GT is known for. GT 7 will have it. Sport is not to be compared to the game that is coming out on PS5.
I am not arguing in comparison to any Xbox game. I just wanted him to know that PS4 game was not real GT.

I will still buy the new Gran Turismo when it is finally released but Xbox is far better in terms of racing games, also they will all eventually be a part of Game Pass.

Forza has kind of left Gran Turismo in it's dust
You pretty much get a Forza or Forza Horizon every year and it will always be part of gamepass.

PlayStation over Xbox for racing games. Gran Turismo has best Consule online racing.

Forza is a trash game, and just cause you get one every year doesn’t make it great. Quality over quantity. GT7 is truly gonna show the power of next gen, and ps5 is where you’ll want to be.

There is nothing wrong with GT, however Turn10 set out to be better and they succeeded.
If you got a bad arse setup for driving and you are hardcore, go with GT. That is what they strive to be.
If you are playing with a controller, frick off with your GT is better. Forza brings the most fun with their campaigns and open world of the Horizon series.
Plus mentioning again - Every Forza game when released is part of GamePass.

I played Dirt 5 on PS5. The adaptive triggers are a game changer. Too bad the game crashes corrupted my only save file
