PS5 or PC?

Ive always had Playstations but Im kinda curious about pc gaming. Im also really worried that the movement with the WASD keys are cumbersome and other key bindings do seem much less intuitive.
Is a controller with the PC a viable option or is that defeating the purpose of PC so to speak? I dont really play anything to intense but may buy the new battleield. I hate COD and play more RPG/MMO type games.

Controller on PC has become incredibly popular, so don’t let that part stop you.
I’ve always been a Xbox guy and I’m building a high end PC. As all console games (especially on Xbox) force crossplay multiplayer, I’ll take the higher end machine.

As Benny said, if your concern is over the controller, don't worry about it. Some games are better with kb/m (frankly, most of them), and some games (like platformers) are better with a controller. A wireless xbox controller will work flawlessly with any modern Windows machine, so you have the best of both worlds.

Ps5 is more economical than building a decent pc these days if you ask me

There isnt a doubt about this. any decent gpu/cpu is like 300 bucks or so for each and you havent gotten anything else lol.

In the short term, yes. In the medium to long term, just depends on what he's trying to accomplish.

Yea thats what has me interested as well. Right now there does seem to be a huge price difference and I dont see that changing till sometime next year at least. But PS5 arent plentiful either unless you want to pay double. I thought about just buying parts at a time for desktop but wanted to get more info for sure

3060ti and 3070 are both excellent values if you can score one at MSRP, especially a Founders Edition

Bang for buck, 3070
If I recall correctly, frame per dollar is basically linear up to the 3070. Once you get past that point, you get a little less boost per dollar as you go up the stack through the 3080. Then after the 3080, it falls off a cliff.

There's a non zero chance I'll be selling my 3070fe in the next few weeks. And while I would be willing to cut someone on this board a deal, it won't be "less than $700" worth of a deal. Sorry, mate

I'm just a poor playing via Steam Link and GeForceNow on my Nvidia Shield.
I suppose I can even PSNow and GamePass soon enough.
