On my X, i could play COD while we listened to Spotify via the app...What am I doing wrong on this ps, I cannot for the life of me figure this out..I can for some reason play them both, loud as hell at the same time, but can't simply slide one over the other

Playing COD on a Series X

I do it with ease. I turn on Spotify. I play song. I load up warzone. I turn down master volume for game a bit.
Spotify then becomes the dominant audio.
Spotify then becomes the dominant audio.

if only you could double tap the PS button and use the audio slider.
I'm sorry that this question confused, you, that's not what I want at all..
I also was looking for a way to not have to simply turn down and up the volume on the game each time

It’s quite literally what you are asking for. The option to slide the audio to prefer the music or the game.

Good thing it saves!

Amazing how I am able to do just that with Apple Music and cod or any other game on my PS5.

It’s okay grandpa, you will figure it out eventually.
While I play Apple Music, talk in a voice party, and play cod all at the same time.

Maybe i am the grandpa, why in the hell would you want music playing in an FPS. The surround sound is how you hear people approaching you?

I use a headset for that, and my wife listens to music..
Not sure what the other guys issue is, but since he has figured it out he should pass that on to Sony, since they don't think it can be done without an OS adjustment

I guess only hearing game audio can get monotonous after a while when you're playing an FPS. Same thing applies with fighting games for me. I def need to hear the in-game sounds to be able to perform. I know people who turn them off and I don't get how that's possible.
