I've played for a few hours the last few nights and I haven't had that happen but once. The problem I still see though is at the beginning of matches when you cant hear shite for the first minute or so.

Yeah. Like if I have a movie on my computer and I want to take that file and play it on my ps3/4. How? Cause it won't read a regular mp4 file or video file right?

There was some info in the Wolf of Wallstreet screener thread on the M/TV board. There's some free converter software that people recommended.

Get "Any Video Converter". The PS3 plays everything except .mkv from what I've experienced. It's super easy, you just lose some quality.

PS4 doesn't play video files...yet. They are supposed to do an update (or are thinking about it, I read).
Lewis, download PS3 Media Converter. Its free. Install it on your PC. It will stream any video file you have. You'll need to give PS3 MS access to your video folder, but it will stream the .mkv files by converting them on the fly. It uses the PC processor to store it while you watch it, but it doesn't keep a converted file. It works great.

What about Cinavia?
fricks everything up. How do you get around it? I just roll my time on the PS3 up 20 mins or so every time the sound goes out. Its a pain but it works. I've only encountered it a couple of times, though.

I usually stick with the DVDRip type of files. TV shows never have an issue. Now that I have a PC in the living room, it's not a big deal to watch it on there if Cinavia starts dicking around.
