hey ps4 bros, just got a ps4. plugged it in, worked great for about 3 minutes but then it needed an update before logging into psn. After the update I was logging into my psn and it shut off completely. tried to turn it back on and it is NOT the blinking blue light people have complained about. The blue light blinks for a split second and the console beeps. Then you hear it kind of shut off. No blinking blue light just one quick blink and then nothing. No matter what I do it doesn't work.
Am I fricked and going to have to get sony to ship me another one? Can't find anything online like it. Everything else I have seen is the blinking blue light. TIA

Sounds like you have a dud. Where did you get it? If it's Amazon you could have a replacement by Friday most probably. I had similar problems with my first one. The replacement Amazon sent has worked like a dream.
